patterns aren't about spamming. they're about the diversity of the notes. you never get those fast triples with 2 or 3 different notes, only with the same note. so it's easy to memorise

X.P. -Xavier Poll- I only have about a year of diva for skill, (only diva X, future tone, and a couple months ago f 2nd) and I've spent many hours trying to excellent this song normally!! After playing it so much and getting a lot of practice, it's not really that difficult, it's just that my left thumb is very slow, so sometimes my left thumb can't keep up with spams... But never give up! Just keep going and push yourself to get better and faster!

"You can always memorize harder patterns and rely on muscle memory but you simply cannot just learn how to play this fast." Which is exactly why I'll never get a Great or higher on Denparadigm in Future Tone. I mean, Future Tone is a very hard game, but I've improved over 5-6 months, and I can do very good on every song. Heck, despite having a very low clear rate for Intense Voice, I almost got an Excellent on its Extreme chart. But Denparadigm has spams that go way too fast. If its BPM was lower, I could probably Excellent it by now, but I simply cannot keep up with the patterns' speed.

It is not impossible, it is just more effort to train up your stamina then it is to learn patterns. So don't give up and if you have fun eventually you can get there

Revenge319 personally for me, I can keep up with that one and negaposi kinda well, I've gotta warm up before I play them, I've only gotten great on them so far tho. What I did was I kept playing songs that got faster and faster to build speed, and played those song MANY times, but I'm sure you'll get there! XD And also everyone else seems to be able to do fine with Intense voice except me!! No matter how much I practice intense voice, I always drop out at the end ;-;. Same with dissappearance ExExtreme but yet I was able to power thru with very little life left, only once tho...

it's very interesting how the PS3 doesn't choke up when serving these charts. these charts have a rediculously high amount of spams in them and when it comes time for the PS3 to draw all the 3D icons there is not a lot of frame dropping. From what I know F 2nd was rebuilt from scratch for the PS3 (F was literally Dreamy Theater Extend capped to 30FPS and a bunch of other wacky hacks), thus leading to an optimized engine. Either the PS3 is a beast, or this game is optimized to hell and back, or the game simply isn't very taxing on the processors. I'm amazed every single time I watch charts like these. I'm on the edge of my seat every time lmao

What I find interesting is a small difference between the Japanese and English versions of the game. It's the note rating thing (I don't know if that has a real name). English: Cool, Good, Safe, Bad, Miss. Japanese: Cool, Fine, Safe, Sad, Worst. I just find this to be interesting, and maybe you did too. Game localization stuff interests me.
