Just an idea, I feel like they should make different controllers with different button "feels". Depending on the game, you might want more mushy buttons, or more clicky. It'd be better for more flexibility for the buttons.

Same. I hate the Joycons for Mega39 for the button mode. They are so small and oddly placed and they feel like they have too much resistance so I have to push them harder. My friends think I'm crazy or making stuff up when I say the switch version is harder than the PS4. I'm so glad that I am not the only one who thinks the controller you use really makes a difference.

@@Sakachi18 I think most people would agree on the controller making a big difference, or at least most serious players. The tiny buttons and asymmetrical layout of the joycons is very hard to get used to, but I wish the PlayStation controllers had the same "clickiness". Sad the DualShock 5 has that mushy feel.

@@Sakachi18 joycons suck heres the problems 1. very tiny buttons, if you're spamming really fast you might hit wrong buttons (unless you have small thumbs) i noticed this with the fast 360s in singing passion 2. button placement bad the ps4 stick and button placement is best period. also the sticks are directly above or below the controller, not actually to the middle 3. back buttons suck, the zl and zr just feel weird especially since its just a button and doesnt feel like r2 or l2 on other controllers, also its so easy to hit l and r by accident upsides: 1. split dpad but you can just take apart your ps4 controller (and maybe pro controller) to change the dpad anyway so whatever 2. the way the buttons feel when you push them down is nice i guess 3. easier to fat thumb cause of small buttons, whether it be intentionally or by accident conclusion: get a ps4 controller. almost anything else sucks

It's just a crappy marking move. If people could just use the new controllers on the PS4 they would probably hold back on buying a PS5 for a while. :/ It forces more people to give in. They're trying to get rid of PS4 so they will probably slowly cut off PS4 functions till people get annoyed.

They really didn't even try to hide that they want everyone to stop using a PS4. If the new controllers worked for PS4 people may just settle and not buy a PS5. It's stupid but it happens all the time. They will probably add PS4 support 2 years from now baha.

@@nanatsuiro7 that's true. They are less scummy then some, but marketing tactics, people in power at the company, and the gaming market could impact how they treat the PS4 in many ways. I mean, I don't see any logical reason why they could program the PS3 and 2 for the new controller but not the most in demand system other then as a way to get a few more sales.

yeah, its hard to make a controller that works for everyone. hands are all so different lol. i have small hands for stuff like controlers so it scared me when i first saw how big this one looked (i doubt its that big prolly just how it looks in video)

i've just started playing project diva and the ds5 makes my hands ache. i'm still new to pd, but rythym games i've played with the previous controller are much more comfortable. the buttons are nice tho, i think i prefer them. they're just fun to press

From what I have tried myself with the DualSense, the D-Pad has the same problem most DS3s had, where it inputs diagonal inputs making you get wrong inputs on spam. I constantly red cool on Intense Voice on Square and Triangle spam. Otherwise I like the feel of it.

it looks and apparently weighs the same as the Xbox One remote. I've used the Xbox One remote for a long time and the buttons have always fept mushy, compared to Switch Lite and PS4.

I tend to prefer the DS3 over the DS4 for Project diva, would you be able to give a quick comparison of the feel of the DS3-DS5 too? as I feel like I would describe the DS3 Buttons as a loose Springy, like a laptop keyboard where the DS4 is more like one of them chunky bois you get for desktops

its not really possible to get one thats cheap since all the real ones will just sell at the default price 59.99 usd. Your best bet is to wait for them to go on sale at stores like gamestop,bestbuy,walmart etc. Black friday usually puts them on sale in the usa
