Nawab sir Akbar khan hoti library the biggest library in frontier, after the the death of Nawab Abkar khan hoti , this library plus guest house was given to Nawabzada col Muhammad Amir khan hoti during col Amir khan life time the library of Sir Akbar khan hoti was very well looked after, but after the the death of Col Amir khan ,no one of family members are instrusted to maintain the heritage of their grandfather's so sad ..

There is famous Sikh Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji who was from Hoti Mardan who lived during British raj. His Gurdwara was also there . I don’t know what happened to that Gurdwara after 1947.

The Gurdwara Sahib Ji of Sant Baba Karam Singh Ji of Hoti Mardan is in ruins now. It is very heart breaking and sad to see it's current state. The whole history has gone down the drain as it has been destroyed. Very sad indeed.

Nawab is a title given by British to this family of Yousafzai Pashtuns who were loyal to British but we Khans of mardan consider them as traitors among ourselves. This place came into being after British awarded the title of Sir. Nawab Akbar was tout of British and was serving as Major in Britsh Army. After killing muslims in Palestine Akbar khan was awsrded the title of Sir along wd great lands. These are traitors and killed thousands of muslims in Palestine while fighting Pasha of Turkey. So dobt promote traitors history for few pennies.
