Asian TOP 16 VS Asian Champ Asian Top 16 won. Nice Actually They both killed it, such a monsters. Bataco is just amazing, but while battle he getting a bit repetitive, He needs to keep doing what he's doing and add some more crazy routines with new sounds. Hiss is just Eshmazing, everything he does is insanse, and if he loses a battle, it's just taste of the judges not because he was worse or better, because he does his thing more than good.

I think Bataco is like Piratheeban in that they both have good sound but lack a much needed flow of the beats. It justs feels “choppy” you might say. They would be much harder to beat if they clean it up a bit. Overall good battling though. A well deserved win to Hiss

bataco is the best battler in asia, he tore through everyone in asian championships you could see the gulf between him and everyone else, apart from the final where him and tatsuaki ran out of beats, even with all his opponents having crazy sounds bataco’s flow and structure and experience with his counters just put him above everyone else.

HUMAN BEATBOX JUDGING CRITERIA Originality: New, creative, innovative, thoughtful, bold, adventurous, story-telling Musicality: Tone, volume, tempo, musical elements, consistent theme, flow Technique: Mechanical ability, mic control, complicated structures and time signatures Showmanship: Well rehearsed, clinical execution, entertaining, confidence, battle mentality in my opinion originality: d-low 8/10 codfish 6.5/10 musicality: d-low 9/10 codfish 9/10 technique: d-low 9/10 codfish 7.5/10 showmanship: d-low 8/10 codfish 9.5/10 overall: d-low 34/40 codfish 32/40 low scores on codfish originality is because his a lot of his material was not new, was not innovative (simple lip roll combos or throat bass, kick and snare) whereas d low brought new material bar his last 30 seconds of round 2 i think. you only have to listen to the battle to see that they were both very musical and their flows were on point. technique: d low showed more versatility with his sounds and used more complex rhythms especially in the last 30 seconds of round 2, smooth transitions too which scores structure points, whereas codfish used a narrow array of sounds, simple rhythmic patterns, had smooth transitions in round one but the skiller roll transition for the last beat in round one was a bit off. codfish displayed more confidence and had the crowd moving to more of his beats even without big drops so major credit there. both routines were executed well and seemed well rehearsed considering there was minimal mistakes, but codfish crowd control warrants the high 9.5. overall d low was more consistent across the board and on the whole should’ve won and i think every above justifies that and although it’s an opinion i’m backing it up with enough evidence to be confident in that opinion.
