well, that may be because of that they have not had time, or taken time. In the case of Stockholm´s commuter train and subway stations I know that many lifts are threated by replacement and will get replaced byt modern lifts with automatic doors. Than it´s the Finland thing, I do not know, but the thing there could be that they haven´t found any moderniser or just lack of willing.

To be honest when I first saw this video I was awfully confused of why they have swing door elevators with normal sliding elevator doors on the inside because it litterally looks like it came out of a fun house or something

and also the windows on the outer doors are kind of pointless because you cant see anything when the elevator is not there not even the counterweight its just a dark shaft

I hate inner doors, especially plain blank ones. The should have a window to match the outer doors. Or scissor gates which work better and are beautiful. Modern elevators are like moving coffins.

A few people have to have the elevators do their being safe for them. I love how they complain about auto-tune but are perfectly safe with elevators "auto-tuning" the riders who just can't ride an elevator safely. Auto-tune the singers, leave these elevators be.
