Excellent Lecture. For Pakistan, I think the East Asian Miracle would provide more accurate guidance about achievement of industrialization, because the conditions and the timing is much closer to ours. Of course, understanding the Continental European experience of the 19th Century has its own importance, significance, and relevance. Thanks.

1770 was the time when British industrialization grew rapidly. Incidentally this was also the time when East India Company had gained the rights of Diwani/Taxation to the richest province of Bengal and began it's utter exploitation of Indians and it's shipping industry.

Hey bro.... Can u make or gather a graph showing rise of world GDP from 100 AD to present that is inflation adjusted. Also a curve showing GDP per capital graph (inflation adjusted) of Britain and India, china. Tharroor often says India's GDP was 25-40℅ of world GDP. But what was the GDP then adjusting for inflation. The world GDP and European countries GDP became exponential growth between 1830-1870 ..... Also parallal rise in literacy rates and disposable incomes of middle class and working class in Europe.....
