About your suggestion on putting portraits to represent the characters, that would have been a bad if not offensive idea. In Islam we cannot represent our prophets, imams or even important figures with images. Just type in the name of any of the characters mentioned in wikipedia for example and you'll see not even a picture is shown (instead you'll see their names in calligraphy). I'm a Shia Muslim so if you had any confusions feel free to ask :)

Well if you take the context it becomes less ambigious, (from sunni sources) in the prophet's pbuh LAST pilgramage, during his speach infront lots of people, he stated that he too is human and will pass away soon, and in that same speach he held ali's hand and raised it and said the " who i was his mawla, ali is his mawla" Now in that context, does it really fit that mawla means friend? My logic and whole body tells me no. To me it obviously means master/leader. If the hadeeth was said in a different time then yeah maybe, but it was said in the prophet's last pilgramage in the same speach that he said that he will pass away soon.

6:30 actually, the prophet Muhammad salla Allahu alaihu wa Sallam was unlettered, meaning he could not read or write. And this is very well know across most, if not all Muslim people, you can ask an imam at your local mosque or a Muslim historian. I have not seen such a Hadith ever and would have loved if that channel provided the Hadith.

Secondly, that Hadith doesn't prove Muhammad ﷺ was literate, and is a weak Hadith. Even if it wasn't weak, Muhammad ﷺ used to have scribes who wrote for him, he could have been asking for someone to write for him. But regardless, that Hadith is weak.

If you claim he could read and write, then you must provide an instant where he wrote or read, or one where he said he could. Plus, Muhammad ﷺ was very resourceful, it doesn't make sense that he limit himself from using his resources to the best of their abilities.

Cousin marriages were the norm (not continuous generations though as it leads to deformities) in 6th and 7th century Arabia. It is still common in Asia and Africa. In Islam, there is a list of people one cannot marry in the Quran - cousin is not one of them. Cousins are not regarded as the same as how they are regarded in the west. They aren't considered sibling like. In Islam, the word 'Mahram' refers to those whom it is haram to marry (mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, etc). A cousin is not Mahram. One major difference that wasn't mentioned is that some Shias revere Ali to the point they grant him more importance than the prophet. Some curse Abu Bakr, Umar and Aisha (wife of the prophet). The Sunnis respect them all but note the prophet is obviously the most important.

Point according to the hadiths of ahlulbayt they killed the prophet and his progeny this is enough evidence for us to curse them 2. I can bring you hadiths from your own so called authentic books that shows us some of their crimes 3. They are also condemned in the quran and there's much more evidence for as to why Shia muslims do this btw don't use the wife argument for aisha as according to our hadiths she is the divorce of the prophet and not his wife and even if she was his wife according to us than that still wouldn't prove anything as prophet lut and nuhs wife's are both condemned in the quran and it says that their in hellfire plus your books say that the prophets parents are in hellfire audhubillah so this argument won't get you anywhere

It was after the death of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) that the Muslims were divided into two main sects; Sunnis. Shi'as. Shi'as believe that after the holy Prophet Muhammad (P), his first and immediate successor is his cousin and the son-in-law, Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The Sunnis believe that it was not Ali but Abu Bakr. After the death of the holy Prophet Muhammad (P), there can be any one of the following scenarios. 1. The holy Prophet Muhammad (P) died without appointing anyone as his successor. If this is true then it means that the holy Prophet did not find any need to appoint anyone as his successor and therefore he did not appoint anyone. If such was the case, then why did a handful of the holy Prophet's companions rather than participating in his funeral, abandoned his blessed body and rushed to Saqifa to hold a so called "election"? Is it that they were more thoughtful and considerate than the holy Prophet himself? When you have an election, you have candidates. Everyone gets a fair chance to participate in this election. Election is not held secretly either. Who were the candidates in this election? Did all the Muslims at the time had the opportunity to participate in this election? Where were people like Imam Ali, Abuzar Ghaffari, Ammar bin Yasir, Salman Farsi, Bilal to name a few? Why did such an important event take place secretly? Why couldn't they wait until after the funeral? If this issue was that important, why didn't the holy Prophet himself think about it? Anyway, rightly or wrongly, the election took place and Abu Bakr was declared as a caliph and a successor to the holy Prophet. 2. There was a need for the holy Prophet to appoint his successor but he either forgot about it or did not care about it or ignored it. Can you as a Muslim seriously believe that the holy Prophet would behave in such a manner because of which the Muslim ummah is divided into countless sects? 3. The holy Prophet Muhammad (P) did not appoint anyone as his successor but left this issue in the hands of the Muslims. The example of this is just like that there's a highly qualified doctor with many years experience working in a hospital. A time has come for him to retire. He has two options. Either to go and find someone like himself who is well qualified and experienced to take his position or to get together all his patients and ask them to choose anyone they like to take his position. Commonsense dictates that the first option is sensible and logical. 4. We see in our everyday life that in a well established organisation or institute, the manager either sorts out his successor or at least indicates his would be successor. Islam is the final Deen, Prophet Muhammad (P) is the final Prophet, the holy Qur'an is the final revelation. How can it ever be possible for the holy Prophet to part this world without appointing his own successor? If the holy Prophet did not appoint anyone as his successor then at least he could have given us criteria or qualifications required for his would be successors. It is important to note that when Abu Bakr was on his death bed, he nominated Omar as his successor. When Omar was on his death bed, he appointed a committee of six people from amongst whom Uthman was selected as the third caliph. After his death, there was a general consensus and as a result of this Imam Ali became the fourth caliph. One wonders what is the rule of the game. Is it not a great irony that people like Abu Bakr and Umar sorted out their respective successors but not the holy Prophet himself? Yes, there was a need for the holy Prophet Muhammad (P) to appoint his own successor and that he surely did. He did not leave one but twelve rightful caliphs and Imams after him. The first is Ali and after him another eleven from amongst his holy descendants. The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of people are victims of prejudice, brainwashing, ignorance, misconceptions and misinformation when it comes to the school of the holy ahlulbayt (a s). Basically "suna" are called that because they stayed on the same route as the prophet and "shia" departed from them because they didn't like the way that things goes with "ali" and his family so they took "ali" as more important then other companions and some of them even took "ali" to an equal with the prophet so they develop a new version of islam that give the " ahl albayt" an importance in they believes, and over time it becomes parted alot from "suna" today but i think the assassinating of "othmen bnu afan" was the mejor cause of that if "ali"at lest revenged him from the killer's that would prevent alot of conflict going forward qnd in the end in that time either ali or the other khalifa we're forced by people and the both side did the best to stop the splitting of muslims but couldn't so that's way (fitna) is one of the extreme sins in islam because if it's start it becomes hard to stop .

Well, to clear things up, we didn't "invent" ahl albait's importance (ahl albait=Prophet's household, not wives) What im about to cite is from Sunni sources, first of all we have the ahl-alkisa hadeeth: sahih muslim 2424 "A'isha reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) went out one morning wearing a striped cloak of the black camel's hair that there came Hasan bin 'Ali. He wrapped it under him, then came Husain and he wrapped him under it along with the other one (Hasan). Then came Fatima and he took her under it, then came 'Ali and he also took him under it and then said: Allah only desires to take away any uncleanliness from you, O people of the household, and purify you (thorough purifying)" This hadeeth tells us that ahl albait are now completely pure and a verse of the quran was revealed with this incident which is quran 33:33: "...Allah only intends to keep ˹the causes of˺ evil away from you and purify you completely, O members of the ˹Prophet’s˺ family!" Again from the quran itself, mention they are completely pure. Second we have the prophet's (pbuh) last pilgramage, in his speach, he said this (sahih muslim 2408): "...Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah's call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you to the members of my family (repeated three times). He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: 'Ali and the offspring of 'Ali, 'Aqil and the offspring of 'Aqil and the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of 'Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes." In it he basically said i will pass, i'll leave you with TWO weighty things, the book of God for guidance. And then he repeated three times "and i remind you of my ahl albait, i remind you of my ahl albait, i remind you of my ahl albait" So i hope this clears it up, we didnt invent their importance, the sunni brothers just disregard it, their importance was their from the start.
