This UVA team runs a boring offense. No sense of urgency when down big. Still walk the ball up the floor. Something has to give. They'll be lucky to win a game in the NCAA tournament. Hard to believe this team won the chip just five years ago. Hideous performance. Embarrassed as a fan.

They won the national championship when they had Ty Jerome, DeAndre Hunter, Kyle Guy, and Mamadi Diakite, so it's not hard to believe considering that team was loaded. This team doesn't have nearly that kind of talent. McKneely can't create his own shots, there aren't any good options to throw the ball into in the post (Buchanan has not fully developed), and Rohde played at St. Thomas for a reason.

This is what happens to a team that's too defense-oriented and not much offense. UVA men's team is too unbalanced between offense and defense, tilted too much to the latter. I don't see them going far into the NCAA tournament, this year, again, but hope they don't crash out in the opener - that is, if they make it to March Madness.
