Uhh Ethereum yield comes from attestation rewards, and MEV. Ethereum is clearly a commodity, as CFTC has said many times and SEC even said in 2018.

@@otter_cookies7590 Block rewards aren't yield. ETH isn't a commodity. Having a pre-sale or ICO definitely makes your chain a security. Because you will have to tell me what the difference is between how bitcoin got distributed versus how ETH did. If bitcoin is a commodity because of how it started(no team, no ICO) how the hell would ETH be a commodity considering it did the exact opposite of what bitcoin did.

@@24theMoney It's def being manipulated through hit pieces/FUD to drive the price down. Problem is most longs were liquidated so the price should start to level out. It was people selling GBTC to move into BTC ETF's w/ better fees. A lot of the purchasing volume was through OTC which doesn't affect the spot price. I think large players will slowly layer in over the next months to year based on the economy and money printing.
