Gaur Chandra Saha, there is no exact date when this puja started. As per him, if we consider evidence its not less then 350 years old. late. Gaur Chandra Saha family celebrate it in every four years at Dhubri(Assam) and other years its celebrate by other family tree members in KolKata, Matarjhar(Assam) and even somewhere in Bangladesh. This Durga Idol also very Unique as compare to other Durga idol. Son of Durga, Kartikeya and Ganesha are placed in different position from very old time. family dont know the exact reason and have different version of stories behind that too. And The family also Celebrate Kali puja in Same pandal in the night of asthami which is also very unique with some story.
