30/10/1966 is a day edged in history where the legendary reciter Sheikh Ul Qurra Abdul Basit Abdus Samad drew a crowd of over 30,000 people at the famous Green Point Track in Cape Town, South Africa. Many people who were in attendance have shared their memories of this historic day. Long before the advertised time of the recitation, the ground and stands were filled with people who had come from far and wide, and all the surrounding area was packed with cars. As the recitation itself commenced, Sheikh Abdul Basits heavenly voice echoed though the stadium leaving the listeners in astonishment. After each breath the crowd responded sonorously. Many were in tears whilst hearing the verses of the Glorious Qur'an being recited in such a manner. It was a day that will never be forgotten by the mass community of of Cape Town and South Africa at large. This legendary recitation was recorded and released on vinyls at the time and later reproduced on cassettes. It was a classic hit and was purchased by countless people throughout the world who still hold these recitations very dearly to their hearts. But it is the Quran , the words of Allah that is more important and the guide for humanity to ponder on, to reflect in our lives, otherwise it does not benefit.....أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ⁠ Will they not, then, ponder over this Qur’an? - or are there locks upon their hearts...وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا AND [on that Day] the Apostle will say: “O my Sustainer! Behold, [some of] my people have come to regard this Qur’an as something [that ought to be] discarded!

@@rizvimd The Quran is to be read frequently, toil and reflect about that what you have been reading. Learning the Unique Abrahamic Locution used in the Quran is key in understanding the true meanings as they are there for... Al Ard means The Scripture, All Samaaa are the 6 layers of understanding of the Quran. Ighfirly means a reconnection with Allah. Sukkoor means communication with Allah.... Never use Allahumma to make a dua.... Use Rabi, Rabanna to begin you´r Dua, like all the Nabiyoon and Rasoelon have done it this way. The Books of Tasfeer and the Hadith collection have to be rejected as any sectarian affiliation before you accept that the Quran is complete and has everything in it one needs a reconnection will Allah shall follow... performing rituals learned from the hadith, believing in the false story´s of the Tasfeer will grand nobody a connection with Allah.... As if saying the Quran is not complete and Allah cannot communicatie !
