Historical 150 Year Old Soda Fountain Diner | The Miner’s Diner | Julian, CA

The Miner’s Diner in Julian, California is in a historic building that has been around for 150 years. We ate the Slaughterhouse Burger, the Miner’s Melt, and had a Sarsaparilla soda made at their classic soda fountain.
We are on a permanent road trip with the goal of eating food all over the country and bringing reviews to you. Come along with us as we sample new cuisine and patron many local and regional corporate restaurants along the way.

As a Julian local, Miners tends to be my general town go-to lunch spot, but next time youre around the area you should check out and try Heroes Wood-Fired Pizza, about 3 miles from Miners Diner.😊

Sorry Kids I was on vacation the last couple of weeks.. That patty melt with chili fries would be my go to.. Mmm, mmm.. Theyve been importing apples from oregon since the nineties. Still, you can wait until fall and wait in line for hours or just buy them from the grocery stores in San Diego

Not Oregon. I'm from Julian born and raised and worked at one of the pie shops for 12 years. The apples are imported from Washington or Utah.

Another fun video. Looks good for sure...but they definitely need beer with the burgers. Fun place...candy cigarettes...an old school gateway drug...haha..😂 Question...in your travels have you done any videos in PA. Amish country? I've heard they have some really great buffets in that region and I will be up that way in December...

We spent some time in PA a couple of summers ago but moved too fast to explore Amish country, unfortunately. Loved the NE and hope to travel again there someday.
