The anthem at 5;26-8:06 was not a national anthem. It was a patriotic song very apecific to a political party ( a lot like the Horst Wessel hymn of Nazi Germany). The ideals were good on paper, but the actual results have mixed reviews.

This is the song under the reign of President Ferdinand Marcos, "Bagong Lipunan", it was not meant to replace the Philippine anthem but a propaganda by the Marcos presidency. I agree with you it sounds communist sounding as a matter of fact, the words couldn't be farther from communism because the words were advocating that there is a new society, hence the title bagong lipunan or new society.
