Marcha Real came from a military song, was the tone for Spanish Royal Guard. Every time that Spanish King came out from Royal Palace scolted by his guards this song was played so ppl start to relate this song with King. The original song is called "Marcha Granadera"- Granadiers march

I think only became called Marcha Granadera during the Francoist era.

Combining both the monarchist version and the Francoist version, as well as adding new lyrics that reflect Spain's position today is the most logical choice for a restoration of the lyrics. However, the Marcha Real had no lyrics before the reign of Alfonso XIII, and since it was performed without them, it should remain without lyrics for now, especially since I heard Princess Leonor has some new lyrics in mind. Maybe when she becomes Queen, she will give this anthem lyrics.

The kingdom of Spain born in 1808 with the looses of viceroyaltys and not in 1641, in 1641 we was an empire, plus the Habsburg monarchy was with more ppl than Carlos V or Felipe II. ( I will update the commentary)
