It's been 8 years since this series was released but I'm coming back to it because it's just that good ^^ I'm honestly surprised this series didn't get more views. It's really cool to come up with the history of a place like the mlp universe. This inspired me to make my own history book for my own mlp universe. Still in the works as of now.

Why can't history be this interesting. This makes a lot of sense now when you think about it. I hope we get an Equestrian history episode later in the season, or at least in season 5.

Historical Equestria, This is some awesome videos you have here. I love your somewhat greyed history of the alicorns. I'm not a huge fan of seeing them as simply peaceful, because I imagine they have problems of their own as well. Anywho, your one of the very few bronies who looks into the history that I actually like. ^^

Fleshing out the word more be going into the history really make it a lot more fun to watch the show or see anything fan made. This is great.

I'm really enjoying this series. The historical style of the script is convincing and evocative of a wider, detailed world. The presentation with art and compelling music blends really well, and your voice is just fantastic!

I just feel so sorry for the Saddle Arabians. They reacted understandably. That tample could lead to their past returning and moor bad fortune. It was wrong, but understandable.
@overyonder30769 жыл бұрын
I only wish that in even simple ways that this sort of history would be shown or spoken of on the show although it would be made very non graphic and most likely very bleak so that it would keep its rating it would be interesting to include in the show for its quite obvious their was wars in their past.

*INSTANTLY SUBSCRIBES* Though one small thing, the music in this one seemed a little bit loud to me, so it was kinda distracting. I love everything about these videos though, even if they don't line up perfectly with my own headcanons, I adore the presentation, the voice acting, the illustrations, and the amount of thought & effort put into these. I even have my own thoughts about how the land in their world works, but I think that's less about history and more about physics.

3:39 There is some real world lore to this, In 535 AD, there was a disaster that threatened humanity globally. Some suspect it was caused by an Eruption of Krakatoa, while others suspect a meteorite impact. This disaster weakened the Roman Empire and caused it to split, then collapse. In the Americas, it probably weakened the Maya Civilization and caused many sites to be abandoned. The world saw unruly weather, cold temperatures, crop failures and other disasters. There was War, Famine and many perished. Shortly afterwards the climate warmed up and the world recovered but, it looked different and the primordial forms of some modern countries began to take shape. The Crusades were a series of journeys to the Holy Land made by the Christians of Europe. This brought them into conflict with the Muslim Arabians and their allies. The Seven Year War ended with the Capitulation of the Crusaders after the passing of Baldwin the Leper, and the victory of Saladin, the Sultan of Arabia. Stalliongrad is actually a stand in for Stalingrad, which is now Volgograd. During the Second World War, there was a pivotal battle between the German Army and the Soviet Army… the 6th German Army capitulated and the Soviets pushed further west.

StarSwirl taught the two sisters to master alicorn magic wile a largely undocumented and now decease tribe of alicorns taught them to fly and understand their role as alicorns

Anypony spot a resemblance between Clover the Clever, Twilight of Generation 1 MLP and MLP G4 of Twilight's Sparkle's mother? I'm sure some do. My head canon..... her name was once Twilight Clover, but she was better known as Clover the Clever at the time that Starswirl was around, and unlike Starswirl, had learned a way to achieve immortality without becoming an alicorn, thus, why she seems to be very youthful for both a mother, and a grandmother and now goes by Mrs. Sparkle after marrying Mr. Sparkle. That's just my theory though. What does everyone else say?

It's shocking to see how Celestia and Luna were kind and benevolent Princesses, but their ancestors were cruel tyrants, only favoring their Equine kin, and ruled over SaddleArabia just the same as King Sombra's reign over the Crystal Empire. ☀️🌙❤️ | 👑⛓️🖤
