I love books about art. Great video! I've read a few of your selections, Briefly a Delicious Life, A Month in the Country, and The Artist in the Floating World...all very different but I liked all three. I love Suri Hustvedt's books, her writing is layered and complicated but beautiful. I urge you to read her books. I think I finally have to read Septology. I've been intimidated by it, but now I'm itching to read it.

Glad you mentioned Fosse’s Septology. I hope you like his work. The art is pretty prominent in the book from time to time. A Month in the Country, Art & Lies, and several others on your list are books I hope to get to.
