Similar facts about the city of Iram. It was extinct for a while and no one but Allah could have told the Prophet (Peace be upon him) about it. In modern times, a clay tablet of another ancient city was discovered with names of cities they did business with. One of them was Iram. Also the Miracles of Eesa (peace be upon him) speaking form the cradle and of creating clay birds and breathing life into them with Allah's permission. These were not in Christian sources for centuries before the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), but were discovered later to have been part of the very earliest Christian tradition.

If we compare between prophets, the disbelievers always outnumbering the believers, because what? Because Islam is not an easy religion but, alhamdulillah, rational. Most people like to worship their own desire, most people want an easy life and suite what they like, they who convinced to the existence of God don't want God to rule their lives, want to live a free life, no difference from disbelievers including the atheists whatsoever. The 3 major religions (Jew, Christian, Islam) are all believe in the Torah and yet only Islam that up unto today, practice the Law (for the basic of Sharia Law is the Torah itself). It's not about what most people choose, but what is right. Moses (pbuh) was a good man who stood up for the Law to be practiced, Jesus Christ (pbuh) was a good man who stood up also for the Law to be practiced and said, not even smallest letter shall pass until earth and heaven pass away. And so does Muhammad (pbuh). We muslim (muslim means submission) to the God's will not our own will. Our lives maybe a little harder in the world, but insya Allah, Allah will make it easy for us in the hereafter.
