#7 is undergoing restoration. The shafts are machined, the bearings being worked on, stack is being rebuilt. It's been an amazing project. So glad you stopped by to take a look!

Are they restoring the locomotive to operating condition?

Yes, it is currently being restored to operation. Right now we are about to put the shafts back in, there’s lots of wood work being done, and we are are looking for a boiler welder to bring one small low spot back up to spec.
