Abyaneh is located in Isfahan province where is located the homonyme city, i'm a 17 years old student from Costa Rica but i like nature and history, i have been investigating about the history of Middle East, India and some of southeast Asia, so i'm gonna write here a text about the modern history of Iran. - Before 1505 Iran had been under foreign rule, mainly by the Timurid empire since 1370. In 1505 Ismail I started an important religious and cultural movement mixing shia islam with turkic traditions(turkic and turkish is not the same), during this period Tabriz, Qazvin and finally Isfahan were capitals, in 1515 the Saffavids fought against the Ottomans who were their worst enemy in an event known as battle of Chaldiran where the persians lost the modern-day Iraq, after that, the wars against other neighbor peoples and nations like the pashtuns, the azerbaijanis and other, in fact, the persians won and lost their dominium over the caucasian region, the saffavids had wars against the portuguese empire and an alliance with the Habsburg empire, is necessary to mention that this dynasty left an importan architectural heritage specially in Isfahan where we can see a lot of Saffavid architecture, but the decadence arrived when the ottomans and russians invaded Persia, in 1722 Persia lost the territories of Daguestan, Azerbaijan and Georgia because they lost the russian-persian war. In 1736 Nader Shah killed the last Saffavid monarch, Tahmasp I, after that he started more invasions specially against India, he founded the Afsharid dynasty that covered the Great Khorassan area and invaded India destroying Delhi in only some hours, but this dynasty fell very fast, in 1747 in modern Afghanistan that was under Afsharid rule a new era started when Ahmed Shah Abdali founded the Durrani empire while in Iran the Afsharids lost important territories and in 1751 Kharim Khan Zand founded the Zand dynasty with capital in Shiraz, although in 1778 they changed their capital to Tehran, the modern Iran's capital. In 1794 another dynasty started it's rule in Iran, the Qadjar, their architecture was more influenced by europe, for example, they use more stained glass and as the saffavids they had more time for create a very beautiful style of architecture, Agha Mohammed Khan had founded a very powerful dynasty, but it wasn't persian, it was a turkic dynasty that lasted until 1925, also, there were two important conflicts, the first russian-persian war(1804-1813) and the second russian-persian war(1826-1828), after that, a cause of treaties of Gulistan and Turkmenchay the Qadjars lost their territory on the Caucasian mountains. In 1870 a terrible famine destroyed Iran and after that, the Qadjar dynasty was in a terrible decadence, however, there were some achievements like the first iranian constitution created by the Shah Mozzaffaredin in 1906, despite it, in 1925 the Pahlavi dyasty started to govern Iran, Reza Pahlavi introduced foreign books, opened many mall centers and built hospitals, schools, universities, during the Pahlavi era Iran was a free country, but in 1978 the islamic revolution led by Rubollah Khomeini and financed by United States and United Kingdom ended the last persian dynasty and Iran turned into a very oppressive islamic regime that is still destroying Iran until our days.
