Dustin, you jam-packed a lot of everything we love in this one! The views of that beautiful lake and glacier are my favorite. I was relieved when you made it back to your boat safely after retrieving your drone! And loved the history and how you included actual video footage of the asbestos mine area. Fifty years ago I was running a bulldozer on the tailing (waste) pile seen at 33:30. I happened to be looking across the valley when a bolt of lighting struck down out of a clear sky. On the next pass I saw a thin column of smoke, and that was the beginning of a small forest fire. That night the professionals arrived and quickly put it out while most of us slept.

I have just watched your video of the abandoned section of The White Pass Express in The Yukon. My wife and I traveled from Australia to ride this train in 1974 all the way from Whitehorse to Skagway. When the line went the full distance it was the White Pass and Yukon Railroad. Awesome trip full day including lunch stop at Bennett station where all passenger were fed two course meal in 1 hour. It was a mixed train with freight, flat cars for vehicles as well as passenger cars complete with pot belly stoves for heating. On your video you wondered about the short sections of track at 90 degrees to the main line. These were for 2-4 person hand or powered carts for railroad workers. They could man handle them off the main line if trains were coming through. Keep up the great work with your videos which take us back to many places that we explored back in our carefree youth.

That climb to retrieve your drone was epic! I am most impressed! All I can say is that your outddor lifestyle and all the hiking you do really paid off for you. A man in lesser physical condition would not have been able to pull it off. What I got the biggest kick out of was on the way down, at the point where your passage through through the alders seemingly was at its worst, your Canadian accent came out. Most of the time you control it but, when the going got tough ... yep', it came out!

Hey Dustin! I know space is at a premium in your rig, but hear me out. Small 3D printers are very very cheap these days, in the skill to run them is actually really straightforward, having one with you in the rig that you can set up would make replacing drone parts on the fly much easier, plus small bushings in other parts on the truck or camper that break. They can also be used to print custom camera holding enclosures and guards/float cases. There's a massive online community that is already created most parts we encounter in everyday life that are free to download and print. Just a thought, but I have two and they changed my life. For at home, as well as in my mobile welding Rig. Love the videos they are so outstanding . Cheers from a fellow B.C'er

Another superb video! Really enjoyed the interviews you did with the folks in Atlin in a prior video. I worked in the mill at Clinton Creek summer 1968. The houses that later housed families were used as bunkhouses, guys on different shifts in the same room. For a long shift change (48 hours off) a bunch of us went for a 12 hour drive to Fairbanks, spent 24 hours there, drove 12 hours back to CC and right back to work. I remember P.E.Trudeau touring the mill. It was all tidied up for the occasion. Paid a visit to the Forty Mile townsite on a day off. Real shame about the ice jam caused flood that destroyed so much history. Asbestos in its raw form isn't the worst, it's things like the dust from grinding brake shoes, etc. And unlike Cassiar the CC townsite was located some distance away from the millsite.
