Good to have you back Jesse, my condolences for your loss. Great video about Ace, him and Wild Weasel had a great respect for each other, despite being enemies. As I recall he was an O-3 (Captain) in the Sunbow cartoon and a O-6 (Major) in Devils Due. Great character a bit of cocky and I always loved the Skystryker

It's strange that Ace wears a pressure suit to fly the Sky Striker, which is basically an F 14 Tomcat with a different name. After all, SOME pilots DO use pressure suits to fly, but not in F 14s it's more often used on extremely high flying planes like the U2 or the SR 71 that fly over 60000 ft, I don't think the F 14 can even fly 40000 feet All I can tell about the screengrab is the guy on the right is Jack Lemmon 3:13 THIS is not a APC APC stands for Armored Personnel Carrier, APCs don't have camouflaged canvas roofs 13:35 How can a germ send chemicals back to the crop duster plane like the missiles and how does those same chemicals take out the plane? 14:02 Oxygen doesn't slow parachutes, air pressure does 15:30 this isn't an A 10 thunderbolt but a repainted Rattler. A 10s don't have bubble canopy gun positions on top or a third engine on the tail Also the engines on the wings are actually on the body of the plane, behind and above the wings. Don't put lipstick on a pig and call it a supermodel 15:18 Swept forward wing jets like the Conquest are historically unreliable designs. There's a reason why no air force uses them The X designation in planes stands for experimental such as the XP 14 Skystriker which actually stands for Experimental Prototype. They are the prototypes for future planes like the F 14 Same goes for the X 30

The only amphibious vehicles the US military has EVER used was the DUKW 2 1/2 ton truck, the Buffalo landing craft that the Marines used in WW2, the DD (Dual Drive) Sherman tanks and the Marine LAV

@@phoenixrichardson1261 Its also dunb as hell if you think about it with more than 2 brain cells Any soldier (And I'm including all services here) that has ever served, can't watch a movie, tv show or cartoon about the military, without noticing and calling out ever mistake in them, it's against their nature The first movie I personally have called out after joining the US Army was Firebirds with Nicolas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones

@@dragonweyr44 the Joe vehicle is not a standard stock military design. It is called an Amphibious Personnel Carrier in this universe. The toy even floats. It's a bit silly getting super technical on designation in a comic with vehicles like Pogo Battle Balls and six wheeled Jeeps like the Desert Fox.
