Hey so the question that you are referring to is were the political reasons more important than the economic reasons for the WOI…. Isme in the political reasons the points that I wrote were the doctrine of lapse as mentioned in the statement as well… mistreatment with the Mughals emperors by shifting them to qutab sahib and finally lack of opportunities for the native Indians in civil services…. For the economic I wrote cottage industries being throttled by taking raw materials from India and then manufacturing it in British then later they brought it back to India and sell it in less price which made it difficult for local people to sell their goods…. New way of life like railways and roads were opposed as it was unacceptable by Indians….. tax collectors were corrupted so burden on poor….. less salary for Indian sepoys….

Sir in question one compulsory part b I wrote that the source shows that there is a trade agreement being signed between shah alam 2 and eic.Shah alam 2 looks dejected and hopeless from which it could be referred that he is left with very little power. you will probably score within in the lower range because u missed many things such as the disrespectful attitude of the british towards indians like for example when a general deemed a good shelf of british literature worth more than all indian literature, then moving the mughal emperor from red fort from qutub sahib, changing languages from english to urdu which resulted in unemployment, also by sending indians to fight wars for the British abroad which was offensive hindus and muslims, then making making missionary schools and hospitals and promoting + forcefully converting to christianity as well trying indians in special courts where judgements were made by the british and were hard.
