History of Afghanistan S02 E09 | Hazara Wars | Faisal Warraich

Hazaras are the 3rd largest ethnic group in Afghanistan. Most of them live in Hazarajat (central Afghanistan). The majority, Pashtuns, allegedly mistreated them. In 1892 and 1893, they rebelled twice against the Kabul government. Amir Abdur Rahman Khan (Iron Amir) tried to crush them. These wars displaced large segments of the Hazaras and shaped the demographics of modern-day Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan.

I am a Pathan in Rajasthan, India. A descendant of Yusufzai pashtoons. Quite curious to know, that why our ancestors used to call themselves victorious or brave etc. I mean i am not saying anything against this series or Faisal Bhai. I respect this storyteller. ایک بہت اہم ویڈیو : ہم نے سنا تھا کہ اٖفغانستان کے پشتون اور ہزارہ قبائل کے درمیان کیشدگی رہی ہے لیکن یہ علم نہ تھا کہ اتنی شدید اور دردناک تصادم صرف اور صرف نسلی اور مسلکی بنیاد پر ہوا ہے۔ اور قابل فکر بات یہ ہے کہ انگریزوں کو سات سمندر پار سے آکر افغانستان کی نسلی و مسلکی تصادم کو مزید بڑھانے کی کیا ضرورت پیش آئی تھی۔ اس کا مطلب ہے کہ بدقسمتی سے یہ لوگ دنیا کے ہر کونے مٰیں گھس کر بجائے امن و سکون کو فروغ دینے کے پہلے سے موجود اختلافات کو ہوا دے کر جلتی ہوئی آگ میں مزید تیل ڈالتے رہے ہٰیں تاکہ پوری دنیا پر ان کی حکمرانی ہو اور باقی نسل انسانی مختلف اختلافات اور تعصبات اور بے وقوفی کی وجہ سے ایک دوسرے کے گلے کاٹیں ۔ اسی سے ملتا جلتا ایک دردناک دور پاکستان کے علاقے چترال میں بھی گذرا ہے مگر افسوسناک حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وطن عزیز میں 1988 ء میں جنرل ضیا ء الحق نے بھی گلگت کے اہل تشیع پر بھی لشکر کشی کرواکر خواہ مخواہ میں سینکڑوں لوگوں کا قتل عام کروایا اور جلال آباد نامی گاوں کو نزر آتش کرواکر پاکستانی قوم کی یکجہتی کو ناقابل تلافی نقصان پہنچاکر ہمیشہ کے لئے نفرتوں کو بڑھا دیا۔۔۔ یوں پورے پاکستان مٰیں سینکڑوں کی تعداد میں لوگوں کو مسلکی بنیاد پر قتل کیا گیا۔ مساجد پر حملے ہوئے وغیرہ وغیرہ ۔ ایسے تنگ نظر اور کوتاہ اندیش لوگوں کو جنرل یا حکمران بننے کا کوئی بھی اخلاقی حق حاصل نہیں ہے ۔ اور شرم سے ڈوبنے کر مرنے کا مقام ہے۔ چترال میں جبری مسلک کی تبدیلی کے متعلق ڈاکٹر عزیز اللہ نجیب کی کتاب چترال اور گلگت کے شیعی اسماعیلی قابل ذکر ہے۔ حالانکہ تاریخ کا مطالعہ کرکے ماضی کی غلطیوں اور ناانصافیوں کو دور کرنا ہی دور اندیش حکمرانوں کا شعار ہے۔ باقی ترقی یافتہ اقوام کے حکمران اپنے ہی عوام کو مسلکی ، نسلی یا علاقائی نفرتوں اور اختلافات کو ہوا دے کر آپس میں ہی تصادم کرواکر کمزور نسلی گروہوں یا مسالک کی وجود کو مٹانے کے درپے نہیں ہوتے ہیں۔ بلکہ وہ دن رات اپنے عوام کو متحد کرنے اور مختلف منصوبوں سے اپنے ملک کو معاشی طور پر مظبوط بنانے کے لئے کام کرتے ہیں۔۔۔ اللہ پاک تمام مسلمانان عالم پر رحم فرمائے۔

Make a separate video on the history of Hazara people, It is usually the wrong decisions of their leaders which leads to the desosters braught upon the innocent commen man of those people. Their alliance with Safavis against the Mughal rulers of Afghanistan,Allaines with the British in All Aghan wars, Similarly Allaines with USSR,and US in recent history was the cause of general hatred between them and the others in Afghanistan. I am sure if they had sided with the freedom fighters they would have not faced the wrath of the victors . I am not justifying the accesses of Amir Abdurahman khan . I am sure his punish ments were sever, but that had a genuine reason. The Qazalbash community in Afghanistan was well connected to the Royal famalies of Afghanistan but in 1st Afghan war they and the Kabul Hindus sided with the British they had to leave for Peshawar and Lahore along with the retreating British army. You need to make a video on the life of Amir Abdurahman khan which is full of bad experiences from the hands of his uncles, and cousins,and even his own father. He stayed with Wazir tribe in North Waziristan and Fr Bannu,after defeat in Ghazni at the hands of Amir SherAli khan and Hazara allies. Waziristan and Wazir area was part of Afghanistan that time till 1905. He traveled to present day Uzbekistan through khurasan province of present Iran and Turkaman.He and his small group of contengents nearly died from thurst in Turkamab desert. He tried to break the power of war lords and religious leader to make Afghanistan or what was left of it. He was equally tough with Ghalzai,Shinwaris ,and other fifdoms.

@@WaligaiHethikhel everybody has to fight for their survival,even in1857 mutiny against british in subcontinent pathans,punjabis,sikhs sided with British and hence they were considered martial races...hazaras were not in majority and they didnt trust afghan amirs, they helped others(british and others) to perpetuate their survival....for iranian safvis,they never helped hazaras materially its only limited to moral support, even today they are forced to live in camps in Iran and not allowed to mingle with Iranians ...common iranians are more nationalists then religious in nature....problem with hazaras is not their ethnicity its their sect...had they been sunnis they would have lived to fight another day....your rant against qazalbash and hazaras and blame them for their predicament smacks of sectarianism...
