Can’t believe you forgot to cover the biggest story where Kawasaki rejected Bajaj for the collaboration to develop a 150cc bike. Then Bajaj moved forward to develop the Pulsar all on their own. Truly India’s Own Sport Bike.

I was in 11/12th standard when i first saw a stunt show "Pulsar Mania" in some tv chanel i think, before that i was a huge fan of Pulsar 150 & 180 dtsi.. the disc brake, switch backlit, automatic indicator off, 1/4 gear shifts, the led 2 strips of tail lights, the dashboard, the sound, even the whole package i loved it.... And then i saw my first love That was 220..... ❤❤❤ I brought my first ever motorcycle in January 2020, pulsar 220f bs4.. i still ride on it.. i love it... ❤❤❤

Thanks Bulu for the story, I also own 2005 Pulsar in Karnataka and also use to drive around Bhubaneswar, Puri during my Odissa days. And sold in 2010, but again the emotional connect made me to track the current owner in Goa and bought back in 2018. Got it restored and still own it. Pulsar always makes me proud and videos like these validate my belief. Thank you!

This is trip down memory lane for me.. I moved to Pune for Engineering in 2002. I wanted to get CBZ but parents got me Hero Honda Passion due to better mileage. My friend/roommate brought a Blue Pulsar 150.. We used to share our bikes & loved riding the Pulsar it was so much different than Hero Honda.... Our friends group had a mix of all the bikes mentioned here - CBZ, Pulsar 150, Passion (mine), Splendor.. loved each of those bike for its own!! Miss those days.. 17 year old riding in Pune as engineering student & living outside first time with freedom. Love the bikes & times!! Thanks

I own a Pulsar 150 black edition, and really you have put down those feelings into words. Pulsar is emotion. Till today I ride it daily even for commuting to office and even long rides. It’s the bike that has revolutionised biking in India.

CBZ was the first 150cc bike of India to offer 5-speed gearbox. Anyway back in those days vehicles had character which is missing today. Nice video bhai.

Got my 1st bike, Pulsar 180 back in 2013 which was stolen within 8 months, still can't forget her🥲. After that bought a 220F BS3 in 2016, such a raw machine and still running awesome. Upgraded to Speed 400 this year, lovely beast❤. But still can't get over the emotion with my 220f and will never sell the beauty 😇 Once a Pulsar maniac always a Pulsar maniac!

My father owned a Chetak. I owned a Pulsar 150 which never gave me problems for 13 yrs. After that bought the Dominar 400 just because of that reliability of Bajaj and also for the emotions it has since childhood.❤

I used to love the classic Pulsar twins with round headlights ❤. Infact when i found out that Bajaj discontinued that classic pulsar i was really sad 😔and i lost any interest because that round headlight made it look standout special. There was a Black pulsar 180 with round headlight un my building and i used to keep looking at it from my house ❤. One of the guys who was atleast 10yrs elder to me used to have it , he lived in the same wing on top floor 😅. His parents had given him that bike in college and he used it till he went abroad, then he had to sell it and that was the end of it for me till I fell in love with Yamaha Fz16 and that bike was a revolution in itself as it gave birth to the naked sports bike or naked sports commuter segment in india.Bajaj didn't have such a unique product and thats why they came up with 200NS in 2012 which was their first naked sports bike from Indian manufacturer which is a big achievement in itself ❤🙌😌. Anyway please make a video on Yamaha fz16 since its the bike which changed it all for Indians because then it was all about handling ,stability in corners/highways, punchy responsive refined single cylinder engine , thick front & fat rear radial tyre and monoshock rear suspension with beefy front forks became a necessity for indian public 🤌. Please make a video on Yamaha fz16, I am asking you again 🙌. Make it happen 🙏

I own a pulsar 150 2006 model. I wanted to upgrade but don't want to sell the bike nor had place to keep it. When checked , it was asked of very less price but the bike was in mint condition. Finally I dismantled it and have kept it at home. Hope some day I will assemble it and keep it as a memory😊. But frankly, I felt tht was the smoothest pulsar may be bcz of how much care I had taken. I used to used the best engine oil before motul came in to India thts shell helix ultra synthetic and once motul came I used to use motul factory 300v😊. I had upgraded the spark plugs to ngk performance which had red wiring and the chain sprocket used was rolon 😊. I used to get 60+ mileage easily and the vibrations was almost nill even compared to my current bike cbr250r. By the way I had kickstart version with 17 inch spoke wheel as I could not afford the alloy version. All this was done with my hard earned money. Oh I forgot, I had also installed pilot lights with blue and it used to look beast when the main light was switched off in dark. 😁. After which I also had the ls135 which was good in performance but not in quality. Even today I feel tht if you want to feel going fast u need to own pulsar 😁. If u want to go fast then there are many other options😂😊

Hey Bulu, So nice to travel back in time. Yes, Bajaj as a company no doubt kept improving by leaps & bounds. However, somewhere I still feel that the "customer support" was & still is dated. They seem to have gotten sidetracked after their tie up with KTM/Kawasaki and now more recently, Triumph. The customer of 2de is knowledgeable, knows a lot more about the specs etc of the bikes, thanks to the internet revolution. But the one area where they still need to pull up their socks if they want to stay at par, at best, with their competitors is in customer service. I used to own a Boxer, 4S Champion, CT 100, Platina, Discover. After that I snapped ties with them. Honda & Yamaha had better products & more reliable ones. Anyway, always nice to travel down memory lane! Ride safe & tc.

Yes Bajaj shifter is now better than the CB300R but I believe the CB300R retains that clunk for the feel of the actual shift to the rider.

2001 - 2005, engine kit was imported from japan . From 2006 onwards, this was a garbage. I have seen both...They had drastically decreased components quality.. this is Bajaj 's trademark practice. Once their vehicle used to grip market, they used to make changes in components & decreased their quality....

Have been pulsar 180 user of 18yrs not sure of latest pulsar, i test rode latest KTM 390 for next bike it had the same clunky gear box, false neutrals and high vibrations, picked up xpulse, i like the speed but realized 90% of time i am only able to hit 100k
