In this ASMR/bedtime story, I tell you about the origins and evolution of cosmetics and perfume, from prehistory to our time. We explore how ancient cultures developped cosmetics and how important they were in reflecting social order and beauty standards. I also tell you about the history of perfume, from the first known scent extraction equipment and the first perfume maker (Tapputi in Mesopotamia) to the diversification of ingredients and techniques that lead to the modern perfume industry.

Also I hear the Native/Indigenous People in Canada/Alaska have a deep culture and history they are still connected to. agree with romans. natural is beauty. fundamentally beautiful signals your value for productive offspring of highquality. so any form of makeup or other things is fundamentally masking. it is lying. an intelligent person who can see through the masks and understand this deeper meaning and rule of the game would find less artificial masking and cheating attractive because being truly high quality and being honest are two true assets in an attractive and moral person, especially a potential mate.
