I am 58 and grew up in Covington and it used to be such a nice place. Everybody knew everybody when I was young.

Love seeing the hometown represented. Fun fact, Covington is home to the world's largest Ronald Reagan statue (despite the former president never having been to the city).

Not back in the 1800s-1900s. New Orleans was covered in concrete while the north shore still had dirt roads. All the city clutter results in higher temps.
