Looked it up, and it looks good! Canada has good taste in pizza if Windsor-style is any indication.

@@NebLleb Its not really. Other canucks think we are weird with shredded pep and canned mushrooms. They recently did a show Still Standing on the town of Amherstburg(its stand up comedy about small towns that are still standing despite economic down turns) and they mentioned the windsor style pizza that is often shipped as far away as alaska from detroit(relative distance) ex pats love it. The funny thing is there are literally a dozen different styles available but they all use the same cheese. They also did a documentary in 21 or 22 on our pizza, though I forget the name. The locals Armandos chain has good pizza that is consistent. There are others but it can range from decent to amazing depending on who is cooking. Armandos has come in the top 5 I believe 5 times but never won , best world wide pizza, in vegas And we don't even consider it the best. Just very consistent. My wife would rather dominos on some occasions, but I prefer Capri or Naples. They are all based around Volcano pizza that is no longer around but was a huge hit in the 60's. It is a Naples Italy thin crust pizza in general, though many variations exist. Anyway, hope you get a chance to stop in and try one of our many pizzarias. If you Love garlic there is a place called Cheeze Wheel that has a deeper dish pizza with large toppings and a lot of garlic. Its Good, except if you have a garlic allergy like myslef.

@@thorinbane i have had Capri Pizza the one at the end of e c row area..it was not bad...but Mothers Pizza was great back in the day!!

buddy's pizza is not as great as it's promoted...all detroiters did not grow up on buddy's. its mainly all in what you enjoy regardless of hype-sales-$$..for many people i know its cool.not the greatest ever.,but wish them best!

We really liked Buddy's! But we're always looking for more great places to eat that have a great story. Is there someplace you recommend in Detroit?

@@TotalMichigan that's a tough one-because its a personal preference..the 'chains' here are not so good..there 's a place,Tony's Pizza in Troy more of a thinner crust -but very good flavor and crust & Supino Pizzeria in eastern market. Pizza Papalis was very good -deep dish,great taste-but very/very expensive--been years since i have had it...thank you for asking....
