Seen so many fuzz pedals and I have to agree with you, alone or combined with Octavias or tubescreamers nothing beats a good fuzz face. Besides fuzz face the only fuzz that would eat my money would be the Lovepedal "kalamazoo".

Every sound is a matter of taste. But I wonder why all pedals go straight into a clean amp. Most people use them in front of a dirty amp or pedal. And that sound is less harsh and - my opinion - way better!

Fuzz face, big fat badass fuzz. A winner for me. No wonder why Jimi and SRV loved it so much.

Try them with a Marshall on the edge of breakup. Fender amps are too mid range scooped :) Good video
