True story, but it was kinda boring that didn't keep the motorcycles in GTA 2 and GTA 3 since the first game had them. My first GTA was GTA 2, but GTA 3 got released not that long after. So I did play that a lot more... but then the first Mafia game got released. GTA 3 moved to the shelf.

To be honest, GTA San Andreas was the best. It was what made Rockstar go on, people loved the story, the gameplay and everything. GTA IV had an amazing story, incredible one to be honest, but the gameplay was too limited. GTA V is cool too, expected a better story, but it's decent, and gameplay is amazing.

Man I wish Rockstar would go back to the 3D era style of GTA games. Vice City and San Andreas destroy these newer GTA games. Vice City you literally took over a city and had by far the best business management out of all GTA games. GTA SA offer the most content out of any GTA game. Having multiple cities to explore just made it even better. Really don't understand why they don't just do a mix of Vice City and San Andreas with the graphics of GTA V.

I don't get why everyone hates the story in GTA 5. I loved the whole story surrounding Brad, the history of Michael and Trevor, Michael and his family, and how Franklin was trying was trying to escape the gang life and make something of himself. Sure it was a bit simple, and it was nothing compared to gta 4, but overall I think it was quite good.

it's pretty crazy how huge the jump in graphics is between GTA 4 and 5. It's so clear that GTA 5 is has just jumped to a whole new level in the graphics making it more competitive with newer graphically demanding games like Far Cry 4 and games at that caliber. I'm not a huge fan of GTA due to their lack of eye candy, generally unimpressive story, clumsy gameplay, and premium price, but since I heard great things about this 5th addition, I got it last night and I'm very impressed! NOT TO FOR GET MENTIONING that it actually has better customization than the shitty NFS games haha! Although the upcoming NFS 2015/ Underground 3 is going to go back to it's customization roots, TFG!

***** I don't know what kind of games you play, but if you think GTA has interesting story-lines then you must not play very many story oriented games. Not to mention that GTA didn't start out as a gang/shooter/story game...it started out as a top view steal & drive game which is why it's called GRAND THEFT AUTO. Game controls in GTA games have always been slightly wonky compared to other games of their time don't deny that fact...maybe GTA is a "different" type of game, but I've played practically every GTA since the PS1 versions and I never really enjoyed their style of controls, they always super arcady and at times a bit unresponsive.

+Sub Paradigm well the way gta started sort of explains the fact that the game wasn't intended to be designed with much of a story. gta games don't have bad storylines in the big picture, but I guess what I'm saying is that they were never all that inspiring to play or at least for me. they have a sort of generic feel to them and they never really stood out to me as a reason to replay the games. most will agree that the interactive environment and things you can do to explore as well as modding is really what brings gta to life in many ways. the original gta games were pretty decent gameplay-wise, but once they hit gta 3 - San Andreas, the game just felt like it was trying too hard to be unique, and many of the controls felt boat like and not all that accurate. I think what happened was when they switched to 3d ground view perspective the game went through a process of finding a balance of the original top down arcade feel and a different gameplay to accommodate the new perspective. gta 4 was fun, although I felt like that car mechanics were better than before, but still felt like they were missing something. gta 5 while still not a racing game like feel, the car mechanics are nice and enjoyable. the one thing that angers me most about gta 5 is that the character mechanics can be super stupid on steep surfaces lol, I got stuck on a mountain after I fell off my bike and the character would fall and tumble down after he got up and it took me forever to get down the hill, all to get on my bike and press CAPS and riding my bike straight up the mountain lol wtf. if they can make the character climb on steep surfaces it would be a lot better than stumbling and falling head over heels every time haha.
