Hazrat Ameer Muawiya was a companion of Prophet Muhammad and the founder of the Umayyad dynasty, which ruled the Islamic empire from 661 to 750 AD. He served as the governor of Syria during the reign of the third caliph, Uthman, and later became the caliph himself after leading a successful rebellion against Ali, the fourth caliph.
During his reign, Hazrat Muawiya expanded the Islamic empire through military conquests and administrative reforms, and is known for centralizing power and laying the foundation for a strong and centralized government. He also introduced the practice of appointing a successor, which helped to maintain stability in the empire after his death.
Despite his achievements, Hazrat Muawiya remains a controversial figure in Islamic history, with some viewing him as a shrewd and cunning ruler who paved the way for the Umayyad dynasty's decline, while others see him as a visionary leader who established a strong state and left a lasting legacy.
