@@mrhaci7747 Not. Mostly Kurds are Sunnis, but there is a small Kurdish tribe of Zand and they are Shiites. And this small tribe has captured all of Iran and Azerbaijan. Karim Khan Zand is the founder of this dynasty.

When people ask this question I think the confusion is a misunderstanding of what it means to be “Iranic” in the first place. It’s a linguistic distinction not a racial one;just like Latin(Romance), if you speak an Iranic language (Persian, Lurish, Kurdish, etc.) then you’re Iranic. It’s not genetic, it’s cultural. Just like an Arab is someone who speaks Arabic and has adopted Arabic culture regardless of whether they’re North African, Levantine, or “actual” Arabs from the peninsula. People don’t seem to understand the difference between ethnicity and language family.

Eski çağlarda orta asyada ki, günümüz ukrayna toprağındaki iranileri koymamışsın İranilerin yerleştikleri coğrafya acayip büyük. Çin'e kadar geliyor adamlar. Eskiden doğu Türkistanda iraniler yaşardı. Bugünkü uygurlularda irani genleri fazla. İskitler İrani idi. Türklerle İranilerin karşılaşması baya eski bir zamanda yaşandı ve Moğolistan'ın doğusunda bu iki halk karşılaştılar.

Sovyetlerden kalma hipotez olduğu için Contemporary descendants of western Scythian groups are found among various groups in the Caucasus and Central Asia, while similarities to eastern Scythian are found to be more widespread, but almost exclusively among Turkic language speaking (formerly) nomadic groups, particularly from the Kipchak branch of Turkic languages (Supplementary Note 1). Unterländer, M., Palstra, F., Lazaridis, I. et al.Ancestry and demography and descendants of Iron Age nomads of the Eurasian Steppe. Nat Commun 8, 14615 (2017). We observed particularly high similarity between the Tagar and Classic Scythians from the North Pontic region. In a comparison of our Tagar series with modern populations in Eurasia, we detected similarity between the Tagar group and some modern Turkic-speaking populations (with the exception of the Indo-Iranian Tajik population) (Fig 7; S2 Table). Among the modern Turkic-speaking groups, populations from the western part of the Eurasian steppe belt, such as Bashkirs from the Volga-Ural region and Siberian Tatars from the West Siberian forest-steppe zone, were more similar to the Tagar group than modern Turkic-speaking populations of the Altay-Sayan mountain system (including the Khakassians from the Minusinsk basin) (Fig 7). Based on our results, we can preliminarily conclude that there was genetic continuity, at least partially, between the Early, the Middle and the Late Tagar populations. We did not find evidence of extensive gene exchange between the Tagar population and any genetically distinct (with respect to the mtDNA pool) human groups. Arzhan-2, the archaeological site of world significance, a national treasure of peoples of Tuva and Russia, located in the «Valley of Kings» (Piy-Khemsk District, Tyva Republic), was investigated in 2001-2004 by the Central Asian Archaeological Expedition of the State Hermitage Museum headed by K.V. Chugunov. The sites has been dated to the 7th c. BC and attributed to the Scythian-Siberian cultural community. When exploring the «royal» burial of the early Scythian site of Arzhan-2, the scientists faced the questions of the origin of the buried, periodization and chronology of the monument, its archaeological-cultural attribution, the autochthonous nature of the population that left it, and its relationship with other Eurasian early nomadic cultures. The present study is addressing the most important issue of the appearance of the buried people and characteristics of their anthropological type. The material for the study was comprised of male and female skulls from burial 5 of Arzhan-2 mound. The article describes in detail the process of reconstruction of the physical appearance of the deceased and provides examples of calculating ante mortem parameters based on craniometric measurements. The complex stages of preliminary work related to the restoration of skulls and manufacturing of their exact copies are highlighted. The results of the physical appearance reconstruction are presented in the form of visual museum objects - sculptural portraits. The scientific reconstruction of the ante mortem appearance on skulls of the «king» and «queen» was carried out in the Laboratory of Anthropological Reconstruction of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences by anthropologists Drs E.V. Veselovskaya and R.M. Galeev. In anthropological terms, the buried show a peculiar mosaic of Caucasoid and Mongoloid features. They are characterized by brachycephaly and dome-shaped head, with notably developed rugosity of the supercilium in the man and its absence in the woman. For the man, an average width of the face and a narrow forehead of medium height are noted. The woman has broad face and forehead, the height of the forehead is average. Both portraits are characterized by prominent position of eyeballs and large eyes. Man’s nose is short, prominent, with convex dorsum. Woman’s nose has a wavy dorsum, and is slightly prominent. On the male portrait, the cheekbones are moderate, on the female one - high and prominent. Faces of the «royal» persons are flattened in the upper part, with a certain degree of alveolar prognathism. The lower jaw of the man is medium in size, narrow in the corners. For the woman, some gracility of the lower jaw can be noted. Veselovskaya, E.V. & Galeev, Ravil. (2020). @@papazataklaattiranimam Eğer genetik çalışmaları dinlerseniz, Türkler de yok. Kimse yok. Mesele genetik değildir. İrani halklar gayette var. Ayrıca bir halk genetik olarak eş olmak zorunda değil. Öyle olsa fenotipler halk arasında değişemez idi. Milleti millet yapan benzer kültürlere sahip kabilelerin bir araya gelmesidir. İraniler böyle oluşmuştur. Genetik olarak aynı olmak zorunda değiller yani. Ayrıca iranilerden kastımız Hint-Avrupalılardan çıkan ve hazar denizi etrafından yayılan halktır. Gittiği coğrafyalarda ya katliam yapmışlar ya da yerlileri asimile etmişlerdir. İrani diye bir şey var. Adın neyse adının adın olması ne kadar doğru ise İranilerin varlığı o kadar doğrudur.

İskitler genetik olarak türklere yakın falan değil çünkü türklerin geni birbirine yakın değil. Oğuz ile Kazak, Cuman aynı değiller. Evenkiler ayrı alem. Yakutlar bambaşka. Genle iş yürütülmez. İskitler dini ve sosyo-kültürel açıdan iraniler. Dilleri de hint-avrupa dili. Türk olmalarına imkan yok ki o dönemde türkler birleşik bile değil ve batı da faaliyetleri 0. Türkler çinin kuzeyinde yaşıyorlar idi. Moğolistanın batısıyla işleri yoktu. Qi hanedanı hunları ezici bir üstünlükle yendiğinde türkler batıya doğru göç ediyorlar. İskitler iranidir. Alanlar gibi, sarmatlar gibi.

While describing the journey of Seyyid Jibril, the father of Sheikh, to Shiraz, emphasis is placed on a Turkish dervish. Likewise, while talking about Sheikh Safiyüddin, the expressions "Turkish son" and "Turkish youth" are used. Alem-ârâ-yı Şah İsmail, p. 6. Şeyh Zahid Geylanî also mentions Şeyh Sâfî as a Turkish youth. According to what is narrated in the work, Sheikh Zahid used to go to his han and worship during the Ramadan dry as it is customary. Nobody would see him until the holiday. One day when he was worshiping again, Sheikh Safi understood that he translated. He said to his elder son, Sheikh Jamaleddin: - Go to the middle of the lodge! There is a Turkish youth in such a dress, who is brought here for the first time and performs prayers. Say hi to him and tell him that my father, Sheikh Zahid, is calling you.

Beautiful video. But you did not videotape the Shirvanshahs, who ruled in Azerbaijan for 700 years. The official language of the Shirvanshahs was Caucasian Persian. The Tats living in Azerbaijan today are their successors. Gözəl video. Amma 700 il Azərbaycanda hökmranlıq edən Şirvanşahları videoya çəkməmisiniz. Şirvanşahların rəsmi dili Qafqaz fars dili idi. Bu gün Azərbaycanda yaşayan Tatlar onların davamçılarıdır. Güzel video. Ama Azerbaycan'da 700 yıl hüküm süren Şirvanşahları videoda yok. Şirvanşahların resmi dili Kafkas Farsçası idi. Bugün Azerbaycan'da yaşayan Tatlar onların halefleridir.

Seeing Safavids and Qajars not being a part of Iran, although they weren't that much of an "interesting" Empires for Iran, breaks my heart. My Azeri brothers claiming they were not a part of Iran's history, breaks my heart more. If anything, they were a big part of Iran. What they did affected today's Iran and Iranian people. What they built is Iran's historical buildings. They were a part of Iranian culture. The fact that "The leaders were Azeris" is not what I mean to claim as something wrong, I mean, they ruled Persia, Persian culture and what our nationality is from! And, in the other video about the Azerbaijani history (witch was a lot more detailed than this one), something called "Persia" getting ruled by Azeris didn't even got mentioned. I liked this video and the other video, but this detail really breaks my heart along with my Azeri brothers claiming I'm wrong about my history, and some of my Persian brothers who may not know that much about Iran's history, fight in the comments about who is right, and ruining their reputation like that. I'm a Persian Azeri (I only know Persian) and I greatly respect both of the nations, but Safavids and Qajars not getting included in this video, destroys how much happy I am with them getting counted as a part of Azerbaijan's history. زنده باد آذربایجان. درود بسیار بر هم میهن. متاسفانه عقاید تعصب آمیز یک عده "پن تورک" باعث شده که که حکومت های ایرانی مثل سلجوقیان، صفویان و قاجار رو جزء میراث تاریخی ملت ایران به حساب نیارن. حکومت های نامبرده، به خوب یا به بد، و صرف نظر از قومیتشون، همگی حکومت های ایرانی بودن و هر فرد ایرانی اون هارو جزء تاریخ خودش میدونه. حکومت سلجوقیان، از طوایف تورک (به معنی واقعی کلمه ی تورک، قومی از آسیای میانه) بودن، ولی بعد تشکیل حکومت در ایران مغلوب فرهنگ اصیل ایرانی شدن. (اصطلاح انگلیسی زبان ها هست Seljuks became Iranified، یعنی سلجوقیان از نظر فرهنگی ایرانی شدن). حکومت صفویان، توسط قومِ کرد اما تحت تاثیر فرهنگ تورک ایجاد شد، ولی حکومتشان ایرانی بود. ("Safavids were Turkified Kurds") ولی بیگانگان به دروغ حکومت صفوی رو "حکومت ملت تورک بر ایرانیان" مینامند. حکومت قاجار توسط ایرانی های تحت فرهنگ تورک بنا شد. تمامی این حکومت ها میراث فرهنگی ملت ما هستن، و اینکه از قومیت های متفاوت بودن اثباتیست بر اینکه ایران کشوری است که اقوامی متعدد ولی ملتی واحد دارد. درود بیکران بر هموطن آذری.

البته یادم رفت بگم من هم هر وقت یک هموطن آذری میبینم که خودشون رو "ملت تورک" خطاب میکنن و خودشون رو ایرانی نمیدونن قلبم میشکنه. هموطنان سلحشور آذری برای ایران کشته ها دادن. با امپراتوری عثمانی جنگیدن. با روس ها جنگیدن. بسیاری از بنیان گذاران جنبش ملی گرایی ایرانی از قوم آذری بودن . ولی متاسفانه سرطان نژاد پرستی و تجزیه طلبی از کشور های همسایه به ایران راه یافته و از دست ما کاری جز روشنگری بر نمیاد.

i can understand including the safavids, because shah ismail was 1/2 turk 1/4 kurd 1/4 georgian and his direct patrilineal line was iranian (kurdish). but gaznevids, seljuks, harezmids, ilkhanate, akkoyunlu, karakoyunlu, afshar and qajar are all turkic not iranian. this is about the history of iranian people and the states they founded, not the history of the land and those who ruled over them for almost 1000 years.

also there is no such thing as "azeri" this term is made up by the soviets to divide turks and refers to a now extinct ancient iranian people. the people of azerbaijan are descendants of oghuz turks who inhabit the region of azerbaijan and the caucasus, the correct term is azerbaijani turks not azeri.

@@turgut1071 Well, the comment I posted here is from 5 months ago and I didn't have the needed knowledge to say what really was in my mind at the moment, and the fact that I said "Azeri" instead of "Azerbaijani" does not actually relate to the history of that area, I said that simply because us Persians call Azerbaijani people "Azeri". (آذری) As far as I'm concerned, before the name of our country changed from "Persia" to "Iran", people inside Iran all called Iran, "Iran". Not "Parsian" or any made-up terms people think is the translation of the word "Persia". "Iran" means the land of the Aryans, and we are talking about every Aryan ethnic group inhabiting in the area; and that includes Persians (فارس ها), Gilaks, Kurds, Lurs, Mazanderanis... AND Azerbaijanis. (Of course I'm not trying to say that Azerbaijanis are Persian, by saying that they are Aryans. I did a research about what I'm saying right now.) I believe that the "History of Iran" isn't only the history of Persians or something like that. I believe that the "History of Iran" stands for the history of every Aryan group inhabiting in the area we call "Iran", and living together in a united nation for the Aryans, called "Iran". I also get so angry whenever I see "Nationalistic" videos from people who don't have the enough knowledge, acting like German N@zis, saying that this ethnic group is superior from this other ethnic group. It breaks my heart into pieces when I see people fighting each other like that. Not only when I see those videos and edits in KZbin and..., but whenever I see something simple like two people fighting in the comments and making up fake history and facts about themselves, just to say that "We are better than you", it makes me sad. It's just something I can't stand for.
