Sir James Silk Buckingham first newspaper was calcutta chronologicale started 1811, 1822-1823 he was working with raja ram mohan roy Britisher viewed it very suspicious eyes and brought law of of press and journal regulations, press cannot function without licence thus how mirut al akhbar ceased and james silk went back to london, last issue of mirat ul akhar contained criticism of brithers lincense and regulations
