You know I just realized something after watching ZI-O. Decade used 50% of his power to make the Decade ride watch. Then he lost his remaining power when Schwartz took it becoming Another Decade. Then Tsukasa got his other 50% back when Sogo gave him the ride watch. I can only asume after Schwartz was destroyed he got back the 50% he took returning all Decades power back to 100%. After analyzing this I realized that we never technically saw Neo Decade at 100% so for all we know he could have a new complete form that overshadows Violent emotion and is equal to Ohma-Zio.

Decade was my favorite season. Also, we have to remember with decade everything is possible. He can go to any world, any reality. Maybe there isn't supposed to be an ending because his journey never ends. I personally was fine with having to watch the movie at the end, and I don't see why it upsets people. Decade tied in to W, and its a fitting end. He connected all the worlds, him meeting W was proof that they had become connected. Riders began to have crossovers and stuff after that.

I have a habit of listening to History of Kamen Rider when I’m at work and I have some different thoughts on some seasons. I haven’t gone to the comments to say “you’re wrong” but it does make me want to make my own videos on Kamen Rider. Go trough a season and explain my thought on the strengths and weaknesses of a season. I think it could be a good way to put forward an alternate viewpoint on Kamen Rider as a whole.

To be honest the first half of Decade (until the end of the first nine worlds) was not bad at all in my opinion. I recently rewatch them after 10 years and the episodes still hold up to date: the VFX, humour and character chemistry,...The story is about Decade travel to A.R Rider world and kinda handle their trouble, each world gives him a lesson in one way or another that develops him more or less. Though it felt different as we didn’t see the original actors return, the A.R Rider concept was handled quite well. This period also raised huge curiosity inside us with all the mystery about Tsukasa’s past and other foreshadowing scene. However after that they kinda went all over the place. I did feel like the production team didn’t know where to go after that and just throw Tsukasa into random whatever world ( Amazon?!). And of course every questions from the beginning was kinda badly explained and the show ended like a mess, which was so sad. Luckily Inoue’s performance did make up a bit for it.

I dont quite remember where where read these but there are 2 very common (but a little conflicting) rumors I've come across over the years: 1. All riders vs. Dai-shocker was originally intended to be the series finale 2. Before the series got cut short, tsukasa' sister sayo was originally intended to become a recurring character in the show after the events of all riders vs. dai-shocker

Also fun fact: the original plans had an interesting plot twist. The Tsukasa we know is a clone. The real Tsukasa is evil. Now that I think of it, I remember Narutaki wearing Tsukasa’s camera, a hint that he’s supposed to be the real Tsukasa. That explains why he blames Tsukasa all the time. To frame him and create his plans. Also, I remember that in the original teaser of Movie War 2010, the real Tsukasa uses Decade Complete Form, but the cards on the chest are the same as the forehead: Decade Complete. Now I’m thinking about the final boss if Decade is good. Narutaki as Dark Decade, you know, the black Decade from Kamen Rider Climax Heroes, or Decade Violent Emotion.

The season is the first season I've watched in full (probably because it was so short) and got me hooked on everything Kamen Rider. I think the fact that it was so fun and features all the past Heisei riders AND some Showa riders made it feel like you're going through a brief overview of the whole Kamen Rider history.

Because as the series progresses, Godai’s smile became fake because of the Grongi’s attacks. He may not show it, because he knows he has to stay strong. And you can tell that Godai isn’t really smiling. Then during the final fight, Godai was crying because of the fact he is doing this, while Daguva is laughing because he wants Godai to snap. Sure, Godai could have been done better, but I still stand by my point that he is better than Onodera, even though Onodera has potential.

Regarding the Kenzaki Kazuma that was out of character, I think one of the rider trivia books had a pretty good explanation as to why he acted that way since the Joker undead influence had changed him into being ruthless. This isn't too dissimilar to him in ZI O as well.

Thanks for making these. It's been years since I watched Decade. I'm currently on my 10th KR series but I've been jumping around in the Heisei Era randomly. So far I have seen Kuuga (one of my personal favorites), Kabuto, Den-o, Kiva, Decade, W, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, and now I'm on Gaim. I'm planning on going back to watch the older ones (Agito to Hibiki); and then going through newer ones (Drive to Zi-o) in order this time. I really want to finish the Heisei Riders before going to the Reiwa Riders.

I will say this A friend of mine showed me 'at the time' the most recent Kamen Rider Series which was W. He loved it and wanted me to get into it BUT the last time I watched something like that was Power Rangers Lost In Space as I thought 'I got to old for it....yes I know big mistake' I loved the idea of W and in the USB Stick it had the movie and he told me 'skip Decade part' but I thought....why. Watched it and fell in love with Decade right there. The Sound effects, The Cards, That Clock Up/Invisible/Final Attack Ride at the start was to me epic plus the idea of 1 Rider vs all sort of like what if the Green Ranger won in the end in Green With Evil. After that movie I then sought out the rest of his story as I just enjoy the idea of him traveling and photography 'which I can relate to quite a bit' If I had just watched W I would probley have just stuck with him and thats it BUT thanks to Decade I decided to watch every Kamen Rider series and give them a try and thus fell in love with Kabouto, Wizard and Ex-Aid so I owe it to Decade for making me stick with Kamen Rider as a whole :)

I was quite surprised that I've actually saw all of Decade, without knowing it. Weirdly enough Decade was my very first season if I wanted to not count Dragon Knight, I initially thought Dragon Knight was connected somehow but finding it something entirely different was a shock to me, but has sent me on an interesting journey through the Decades. Though I'm lacking in the paying attention department of keeping my attention on the actual story of every season as I watch it. If I could find a proper place to watch each of the shows I would most likely watch them all over again.

If Decade returns for an 10 reiwa anniversary season i would like to see him for 10 reasons: •New upgraded reiwa base form design (with previous base form elements) with a new updated Decadriver look. •New Complete final form design (not the freaking disasterous 21 form). •Make Tsukasa as a mentor. •Make him as relevant and important to the plot. •Same personality but mature. •Seeing him now getting married to Hikari and got expanded their photo studio branch in 20 years. •No need to explain again his origin story since Decade had no real story. •Decade vs Zi-O 1v1 rematch! •Give him a v-cinema special movie or a series contains 10 episodes in 20 mins mark (like a mini-season 2 perhaps with a better plot written by Yuya Takahashi). •Just give Masahiro inoue a complete real farewell for playing the character in 20 years after the series ends Just make Decade with a better plot!!!!!!!!!

I guess in a way, Tsukasa saying he was just a passing through Kamen Rider was a lot more literal than we thought. The story was just passing us by without us ever getting much answers. Kinda felt like we were never meant to see everything. Which is just sad.

I just finished Decade about a month ago, and coming here, yeah wow Decade was a strange, confusing mess. It had its moments, but on the whole it kinda muddled and failed the landing. I've only seen a few Rider seasons before watching Decade (only one of which a Heisei 1 era season), because I was told I could watch the show without watching the shows before it. And on that regard, yeah, you can watch this with only a basic, peripheral knowledge of the other Heisei Era 1 shows, unlike Zi-O, which actually does require some more in-depth knowledge of the shows before it (or so I'm told). Decade makes it a fun idea to go backwards and watch the legacy of Kamen Riders before him, and the show acts to acquaint the viewers with a version of those worlds without necessarily needing context (except the Den-O arc but I still was able to watch it for the most part). Also, having watched Revice before watching Decade, it's really funny to see that Narutaki and George Karizaki are just two sides of the same coin. For example... [Narutaki]: "OH FUCK IT'S DECADE! DAMN YOU, YOU CAUSED ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS!" [Karizaki]: "Oh fuck, it's Decade! Damn, he caused *everyone* problems, huh?!!!!" (and then he hits on Tsukasa)

you hit on what makes decade both very fun and a slog to get through at the same time at 20:31. It has a lot of great fanservice and awesome moments, I'd say every episode has at least one scene worth seeing. but the journey to get those moments is just dull. a very feast or fame show

This season in one sentence: "You're that Kamen Rider from another dimension aren't you?!" I remember when I first discovered this shit Decade was my favorite Rider(and he's still up there), he's basically Kamen Rider smug Ben 10 what's not to love. Well the season itself is messy, I still admittedly enjoyed it because of the characters and the intrigue of what they'd do with the dimensions. Also ashamedly I had a crush on Natsumi while watching.

Some time ago i read a teori about the Decade serie and how the kamen rider worlds in the Decade serie talk about some problems of like Kiva is about what you gonna be when you grown up, BLADE is about the fear of becoming Jobless and sui**de , Ryuuki is about coruption or something like that ETC .

The story of Decade has never really been mysterious to me. Dai-shocker created Decade, and rather than have some grunt that can turn against them use it, their Great Leader, Tsukasa, took the power for himself. Except he got amnesia, and ended up inadvertently fighting against DS. Then he becomes the AR of Ichigo by being a member of shocker who uses the power Shokcer gave him to become a Karen rider. That was well-implied by the episode we DID get and the movie. 5en the series was cancelled, and the movie we did get got so many rewrites even this train of thought was derailed.
