I was born (1955) in LB and grew up there. I remember playing with those machine guns in front of city hall and the big concrete WW2 gun tower overlooking the ocean

It's a shame I miss Long Beach back in the 50's I remember my dad would take me to the rides and I remember riding the ponies

I live on the beach my hole life miss some of others old places......

My friend Marilyn and myself volunteered to help take the the children to enjoy a day at the beach. They had such a good time. It was so depressing to see them get back in the busses to leave and we would never see them again.
