History of Mitchell Stadium in Bluefield - America's Best High School Football Stadium?

Memories….on the south end of the stadium (the end to the parking lot) I left parts of two permanent teeth at around the 10 yard line playing little league football. Broke my mom’s heart when she saw that big hole in my smile ‘cause we won the game.

Ik it wont happen, but I’m praying EA capitalizes on small town markets by adding a dlc for small college schools like either of the Bluefield universities literally just so I can use this stadium in the game (yes I’m from Bluefield)

I don't know how hard they're going to go with it, but check out the videos for the Varsity Football Game that's in development. I would hope a game like that would have some of the best HS stadiums as playable venues

It's a nice stadium, but it's obviously a popularity contest voted on by people from the area flooding the polls. Check out chapter 13 in my tour of Tacoma, Washington. Stadium high school and it's stadium bowl. Been around since the early 1900's, 3 American presidents have gone there to speak. Theodore Roosevelt called it the grandest thing on this side of the water or abroad. Babe Ruth came there to play an exhibition baseball game in 1924. The first night college football game on the West coast was played there and of course they choose to film the movie "10 Things I hate about you" there after producers saw a picture of it. The most incredible high school sits above it that looks like a grand castle, and the both sit on a cliff just above the water. And on top of it all Mt. @@shanecompton9468 yeah, very clear they put a campaign out to have all the locals vote for it. It very clearly isn't on the same level in looks or history as Stadium high school. But it is pretty decent. Just not the same level though. That's whywhen Hollywood saw Stadium they moved everything to shoot "10 things I hate about you" there.
