Great podcast! I like Damian, but I also love Dick Grayson and Tim Drake as Robin, but they are all different in their own way. Jason Todd I like his character now but not as Robin. I wonder have you ever done Superboy Connor Kent? I think you have and listened to it. I wonder do you think they will ever bring him back? I would love to see him interact with Jon Kent and even Damian.

I like the idea of Bruce having a biological child like Damian bc it gives us a good opportunity to see how much he cares about and considers Dick, Jason and Tim as he would if they were his. I think that Damian having that whole “blood sob” attitude only to have it shot down by Bruce saying that, yes, Damian is his biological son, he still considers Dick,Jason and Tim as his sons as well and as such Damian also needs to learn how to treat them with the respect he dies with Bruce. I just think i it’s a good way for Damian to learn that it blood is not all that matters in a family.

I honestly hate Damian but the only way I can see him working without feeling like a complete usurper to the mantle of Robin is if Damian was the second and final Robin. Meaning retcon Jason and Tim completely out of existence and make Dick the only Robin before Damian. Because of the nature of his lineage and the how he interacts with the rest of the batfamily (also where he's placed within the Robin lineage), Damian is best suited for the role of second Robin. The best and only tolerable example is in DC's new animated universe based on the New 52, where this plays out exactly. The problem with Damian is that being the fourth Robin is ludicrous while three Robins aren't a stretch if Jason Todd is only around for a year. But the thing is, Damian's personality and relationship to Bruce would only serve to reinforce the idea that Batman should NOT have another Robin after Jason's death. Whereas Tim Drake was expressly created with the intention to drive home the fact that Batman needs Robin. So with that in mind, it would only make sense to either retcon out Jason and Tim entirely to satisfy the conditions of having Damian at all and to ensure logical consistency regarding the passage of time and how aging works or to remove Damian and have Tim Drake reinstated as the third and final Robin.

I love Tim Drake, He's my favorite Robin BUT I also like Damian Wayne. I really hope the 2 characters create a better relationship and a understanding for each other. Maybe a ROBINS comic? that would be fun. great episode btw.

Finally I have found my favorite people because there is love, admiration and respect from him here because in other vids about him there's always people that is always calling him brat, snobby and overrated. 5:48 Batman 655 is actually worth decent money. ungraded it'll got for anywhere from $25 to $30+ depending on condition. graded with a decent score goes for a lot more. not that you should ever sell it. keep it! cherish it!!

Tim isn't Bruce's son. Tim's Parents are alive and well. I like to add that Bruce did not accept Damian it was Dick Bruce's 1st and adopted son who accepted Damian and made him family completing the circle that Bruce and Dick started. That is the beauty of Damian and the bat mythos Family isn't about blood. Dick was Bruce's 1st family that he picked for himself. Dick did for Damian what Bruce did for him and the fact that small minded fans always have some issue with Damian being Bruce's biological show's just how small and close minded they are. Bruce rejected Damian despite their blood connection Dick accepted him regardless of the lack of blood relations.

Tim’s dad died in identity crisis. Bruce adopted Tim. Tim is Bruce’s son.

Tim's parents are alive in Rebirth according to Tec. We saw them in BRE and that story has been refed multiple time in Rebirth [making it canon when Dick found them ]. Bruce also said Tim was his ward not son in tec after he returns from OZ. Both of his parents are alive and in witness protection. Bruce is his legal Guardian not adopted parent and those are Bruce's own words.

Enrique Senior kinda of sort of yeah but also erasing a lot of the damage caused by the new 52 for example they finally gave us back our tim drake original origin story and basically erased that awful origin from the new 52 which I approve because that origin story by Scott Lobdell sucked and thank god it got retconned. Also Wally west flash still has memories of his pre52 life which I am happy with by the way. Also pre 52 Superman and pre 52 Lois Lane also came from the pre52 universe thanks to convergence.
