While the Sassanid Empire fell, it actually survived for a long time as a political entity. The royal house of Karin held a stronghold in Mazandaran up until the 11-12th century but disappeared after the Mongol invasions.

I appreciate your interest in historical accuracy, and I’d like to address your points with some clarification; While the Lakhmids were primarily centered around Al-Hira and parts of modern-day Iraq historical sources indicate they exerted influence over parts of the Arabian Peninsula especially in the northwest and central regions. You’re correct that Najd was largely independent and not ruled by a central authority during much of this period. However various tribal confederations existed and at times they acknowledged nominal allegiance to larger powers like the Lakhmids or the Sassanians. The Sassanian occupation of Yemen is well documented during the reign of Khosrow II especially their intervention against the Abyssinians in 6th century. Oman had longstanding trade and cultural connections with Persia and occasional Persian governors were established in the region. The map in the video aims to provide a broad visualization of historical trends rather than absolute territorial boundaries. This map simplify complex realities to make them more accessible to a general audience but I value your observation. Thank you again for engaging so thoughtfully with the content. Historical accuracy is a priority for me, and I’m always open to constructive dialogue.
