So many bans. Too many bans? Ban injection Fairy Lily! The OCG goes mad with the power of the banlist. Eventually I am going to have to make a top ten "Wait what?! That was on the banlist?!" video.

Yo dude, keep up the awesome work, just discovered you today, and i really love this series of yours, since i've always loved the history and progression of the game and it's Forbidden & Limited Lists.

I am very glad you enjoy it. I try to get one of the history videos out every other week. But at the end of an era, like we are rapidly approaching the end of the duel monsters era, I am planning something a bit bigger.

@@tcgtheory1147 i look forward to what you're planing, but feel no rush, quality over quantity. Sorry for the bad grammer, english isn't my first launguage.

@@rasmusstenhjkoustrup5345 You are quite comprehensible. Congrats on the second language, even conversational level is quite the accomplishment. Also I agree, and I am taking my time.

seeing these old bannlists, feels like Konami actually cared unlike now where them banning is usually based on how much money they can make of sets. I feel MST was a little to powerful for it's era since it can be activated immediately, during your opponent's turn or even from hand during your battle phase when your opponent activates a problematic trap like Imperial Order. It showed that Quick Spell Cards by design were broken and Konami failed to balance them out properly. Today MST isn't anything special, but compared to stuff like Dust Tornado, De-Spell and Remove Trap, and even cards like Harpie's Feather Duster, it was relatively powerful. In the modern era, Quick Spells outclass most Trap Cards in the game. And outside of Counter Traps and continues Traps, if there were Traps with the same effect as the quick spell, quick spells would always win. So I feel it was pretty reasonable to limit MST
