After watching these two videos, something is clear: the cajon was created by Peruvians, and now it is made and played all over the world. In the US, for instance, it has thousands of users in all types of music you can imagine, from Peru's Afro music to rock and roll. I undersand that flamenco music has a special chapter here, because Spainiards love the cajon so much and have made it part of their musical instruments.

There's only ONE instrument called cajón (in the US, it is called "the cajon box", "the Peruvian cajon", "the Peruvian box", or just "the cajon"). It can be made in various types of wood, and be adopted in order to play different types of music. But it remains a CAJON. The "cajon flamenco" doesn't exist as an instrument, only as a way to play the cajon in order to accompany flamenco music.
