Fun history fact: The Comanches were essentially the North American version of the Central Asian Steppe Nomads, mainly Mongols, and built the same way for the same reason. The Great Plains is a massive Steppe region. The only difference is the Mongols grew up training in the big leagues going head to head with the massively advanced Chinese armies of those areas and then later rolling through Europe.
