A nice synopsis of the formation of the company and true to its roots started out with the lumber industry. In those first decades the mileage fluctuated quite a bit with all their little logging branches which just went into the woods and basically had no towns just logging camps. Of course today the line shifted routes but actually has more mileage then the original which makes it even more interesting
