I think Delaque are unique although it is quite obvious who they really are. Their emblem gives it away (a dagger with twin snakes coiled around) they are doctors. A snake wrapped around the dagger is the most misinterpreted signs ever. It means health not death although the twin snakes shows they aren't against death.

Oh boy my cosplay costume of house Delaque was so out there That when I had to go to the bathroom Which were filled up with lines of others I decided to go across the street to use the gas stations bathroom oh man I had 911 call on me thinking I was a Alien thank the god the cops we're Cool about the situation one thing for sure it ended my cosplay costume days At conventions at least it saved me some money for more books than costume supplies oh boy I don't miss the hours Putting on a costume that's for sure plus I love the mystery of the Delaque and fill my conclusions about them through my own imagination 😁👍

(Well, I dunno and I don't care what Google found to censor in my first attempt. Such technocrats control only as much as they are allowed to, ahem, onwards!) The first potential, rumored history based around dreams further parallels the Delaque with the Strangers of Alex Proyas' Dark City. As well as, visibly, looking like the Borg in their sterilized uniformity. The interdiction involving House Averest is intriguing. The Delaques' shift in overall outwards appearance as well as its power base via Averest begins to feel more and more like Genestealer manipulation. Along with the House of Shadow's/genestealers' arrest of control of an addictive narcotic which could interfere with their desired expansion of influence. I wonder about the specifics of Averest's industries being altered to “better suit the newcomers”. A moniker like “The Crawling Shadow” sounds xenos-riffic to me! That, or useful propaganda. Catalogue views of the Delaques' specific-unique weaponry is a different feature apart from the other factions. The guy seen after 8:30 looks awesomely Gothic-great, and as though 40K and Dark City did clash. And WHAT is SPEKTOR-34 H4RV3Y, besides kraken-cool/spooky looking? The supposed history of the pisces people seems diverting and misdirecting, at least so far as to elaborating upon the truths of the House of Shadow's founding. Even if fascinating and actually connected to some basis in truth. House of Innsmouth, is more like it. Lies! All lies! Uh, I mean...secrets; occult-like. Due to the very modus operandi of the House of Shadow, I'll doubt any and all of these tales of origin. Layers upon layers, maintained by a house defined by information trafficking, whether true or false. “Distinctly unnatural”, indeed. Their lore and general look of the average clanner combined do invoke skincrawling impressions. They will seemingly persist upon Necromunda as long as shadows do. Yeah, the Warhammer-unique mystery and uncertainty around the Delaque is more interesting than I'd anticipated, Narrator. By now, I don't know why they were such an unpopular choice within your community polls. They seem due to add richness to the Necromundan world. Anyway, with approval for the Lovecraftian elements, I also offer you my great thanks for this episode and this series as you've continued it, GDN. It's really informed me of Necromunda since I've played no (video) games nor read any books about the planet.
