Great to see another good UK rail / transport content creator on the scene. I really enjoyed listening what you had to say. Keep it up!

Thanks, I found it all really interesting but particularly the renationalisation. I feel like I live on LNER sometimes but didn't know any of this!

Loving the videos man! just letting you know in comparison to recording audio, your voice is quiet, it might be good for the video to play with volume levels :)

GNER having 373s was intresting.

I think someone should get them after ES are done. Maybe an SNCF route or a UK Franchise because they are such cool trains. Maybe SE could get them for the high speed? Unless of course the trains are unfit for service but even then I think some should be preserved

Is it the only franchise to have twice been run by ‘operator of the last resort’? Went on one of the 373 sets - great trains.

The LNER franchise is set to finish in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know if they will continue?

GNER also had the unique Class 89 in service.

First came GNER then National Express then Operator of last resort (East Coast) then Virgin then and up to date (as of 8 September 2022) Operator of last resort again under the name LNER. Soon Great British Railways. So I take it that the government have finally realised that privatisation hasn’t worked.

If only LNER would of re-inherited the Class 373 to be used on London King’s Cross-Leeds, Bradford Forester Square, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh Waverley and to replace the Class 91 Mk4 sets. I’ve heard that LNER are still keeping the Class 91 Mk4 “Intercity 225” sets until May next year.

So LNER isn’t s as private company?
@Naomi-ei8hr2 жыл бұрын
UK Government runs it under the department of transport. Its actually a very good service when compared to other operators out there.

There was talks about London North Western Railway but you already got London Northwestern Railway which runs to & from London Euston to Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton, Liverpool Lime Street, Northampton, Coventry, Rugby, Stafford, Crewe and Milton Keynes Central. With Class 350 EMUs being used.

Did you hear about the 319s also
@spinosuchusdude73022 жыл бұрын
They are only housed on routes to Northampton Milton Keynes Bletchley and tring and euston

@@spinosuchusdude7302 I be devastated if the Ex-London Northwestern Railway Class 319 do get sent for scrap. But I think these will be converted to Class 768 Orion Logistics units.
