We cannot blame any race for what was done to our ancestors. We can only in the present. I’m Yavapai “ Yavapbe” There isn’t enough documentation to find us but the documents are right in front of us. When settlers asked us, who are you? We would reply with Apajae meaning people, and settlers thought we said Apache. So there you have it!

Correction on PaleoIndian big game hunters: video says they hunted megafauna such as Woolly Mammoth. They did hunt mammoth, but not the Woolly Mammoth, Arizona only had the larger Columbian Mammoth (Mammuthus columbi). There were no Woolly Mammoths in Ice Age Arizona. Arizona does have over 100 Columbian Mammoth sites . The Woolly Mammoth was not present in AZ, it was cold - adapted and its range was further north.

Nov. 1974, my car broke down , had it towed up to Camp Verde. While sitting on a bench waiting for the bus to take me back to Phoenix , I got to talking to a older native American. He told me when he was young he used to haul buckets of water up to town, for the white people....a nickle a bucket. I found that pretty interesting.

Thanks for the comment. Our intention is to make the video longer but it's always a question of cost.

I made the mistake of moving to Camp Verde, AZ! After recovering financially from a divorce, busted my Ar$E to get another home, HATE paying rent! Moved to Camp Verde thinking it would be a GREAT retirement area! Sedona, Flagstaff, Cottonwood, Prescott and Phoenix an hour and a half away! I bought a cheaper mobile in a section of town that was just annexed by the city from the county. Was promised the city was going to pass ordinances making some of these people clean up their trashy property and WAS planning to take the mobile home out and build a nice retirement home! Well, 10 years later and wasting a lot of time and effort, my white trash neighbor still let's his grass grow up to 5 foot, he's a drunk and is a total nightmare of a neighbor, his property should be condemned. It's NOT just him, in about a 3 block area, at least 50% of the properties are run down junk yards! Waist high grass, junk cars, piles of trash all throughout their property! Bunch of good old boys around who care NOTHING about cleaning up their town, increasing property and resale values! The city government is a joke! The politicians care only about one thing, appeasing these losers just to get their vote and care NOTHING about growing and improving their communities! You DO NOT want to invest your hard earned money and retire in this backwards dump of a town! I've met with the Mayor, several city council members and got nothing but excuses and lip service!
