The channel was closed on July 22, 2022, as the main shareholder (Rinat Akhmetov) decided to close the media group (It also includes: NLO TV (2012-2022), Futbol 1/2/3 (2010-2022), Donbas (2009-2022), Ukraina 24 (launched in December 2019 instead of Eskulap TV, closed in 2022) and etc). Former employees launched a My-Ukraina(Ми-Україна) a couple of months later. Now My-Ukraina broadcasts United News. The closure of the media group is related to the law on oligarchs, which was supposed to become legally valid in the summer of 2022.

The channel (TRC "Ukraine") went closed due to an anti-oligarch bill in 2022. In the past, it was owned by the Donetsk City Council under the name "Doka-TV", timeshared by several companies, until it was bought out by Rinat Akhmetov in the late 1990s.
