PittyPaws ...it was because Lenin was very good at being leader of the Soviet Union so every one was happy...but when he died all they were left with was stalin...a true tyrant...killed more Russians than what he saved...after what he did to the Soviet Union...in a way...it had already fallen!

My parents (who literally risked their lives to defect from the USSR in 1979) laughed so hard at this when I showed it to them that they almost hyperventilated. A direct quote from my dad: "Priceless sh*t. And absolutely true."

They all went to sleep - died after a certain periods...:) I loved how Khrushev picked Gagarin to send to Space:) Actually true in Valentina Tereshkova story.She had good health and was a factory worker. Did not even know how to come back. The command post lead her though the landing positions I heard while she was in space. Like apple support:)

keegan rupnik The 'party' had him removed (By the assistance of Brezhnev, especially) because of backing down in the 1963 Cuban Missile Crisis and co-operating with United States Diplomats. It was also a build up as well, he was very outside of his party line, he verbally attacked Stalin in 1956 at the 20th Party Congress in regards to his 'cult of personality', but mainly it was the Cuban Missile Crisis and his way of handling it that led to his ultimatum and removed from office. He died in 1971, he was removed in 1963.

Show this video to your children, and they will understand all about the USSR! And if you're political or historical n00b it's easy to understand it with this video of course! Now, with this video, even 5 years old kids may learn about it! I gave it to a Teacher yesterday, and I'm pretty sure the Teacher will use it to teach first-grade children about it.

And why don't we teach children about the importance of certain subjects at a young age? Since their minds cannot comprehend that information yet. The entertainment is there to keep children occupied with silly things and 'kid stuff' because we cannot cram the entire history of the USSR down a child's throat and expect them to know it all, and realise what an impact is has had on the rest of the world. This is not a convo, it is a discussion about the practical use of mindless entertainment.

"critical thinking skills are not developed" Critical thinking is not pubis hair, it does not grows on its own. You have to EDUCATE children to have it. "Thus, we've created cartoons" Cartoons can be VERY different, and any of them still EDUCATES children one way or another. It really amazing how you can`t grasp obvious things.

It's really amazing how you're not arguing against my claims of this being satire, and that you cannot comprehend its basic concept. This video was NOT meant for children, it is meant for an adult audience to mock how simplistic the history of the USSR can be recapped. Of course, cartoons teach children certain morals and ethics, you were expecting this homemade satire to be actually meant for children? Despicable.
@NancyHey

@Andreus Andropov made som reforms after the Brezhnev years of stagnation. Chernenko was in many ways a throwback to the Brezhnev days. All in all they didn't do a whole lot because of their very short time in office. They, especially Chernenko who was already in very bad health when he entered office, pretty much delayed Gorbachevs leadership and hence the fall of the USSR :) Of course this is a very crude outline. I can recommend Brown's "The Rise and Fall of Communism"!

True story of USSR. Lenin was citizen of Russian Imperia when young Lenin said something that he was thinking about then he was put in prison only for words and his brother was killed by police The father of Stalin was Georgian priest and young Stalin was raped by him also he beat Stalin and his mother he forced Stalin to do bad things, but they couldn't go to police because under the tsarist regime the priest person was inviolable How you like my story?
