This gives me fond memories of the WMDs in Iraq.
@jwenting
@jwenting Жыл бұрын
Those were actually there, just not in anywhere near the quantities or battle readiness that had been reported by the French intelligence agency that was responsible for the data. It was a matter of people at every level in the bureaucracies overestimating the Iraqis because they were going from estimates of Soviet stockpiles when calculated from similar data. Not that it mattered, because even the small amount that was found was more than enough to violate the 1991 cease fire agreement, as was the constant refusal of Iraq to allow for inspections, and the regular violations of the no-fly zones by its air force. Realistically, Iraq should have been invaded for its violations in 1997 at the latest, not in 2003. It was an intelligence cluster fuck leading to a convenient trigger to more or less kick the international community into gear into doing something they should have done 6 years prior. That doesn't mean it was a well thought out campaign of course, and it ended up leaving Iraq a breeding ground for ISIS and other islamist radicals. We (and most of the Iraqi people) would probably have been better off leaving Saddam in charge of the place, but we'll never know.

@@jwenting Iraq had WMDs since the 60's yet nobody was invading them for it until it was convenient and long after they had stopped making them as the US inspectors found. And let's not forget the irony of countries who actually have stockpiles of the archetypal wmds policing the world for wmds.
@cccpike

@@jwenting I would like to see those supposed reports by French intelligence. According to my knowledge, the French knew the documents about buying low-grade uranium from Africa were fake, and they told the Americans so. In fact, the French were so adamant about there being no evidence for WMDs that it led to that embarrassing freedom fries episode. Trying to blame the French for the American blunder reeks of dishonesty.

@@cccpikeI've talked to JSOC guys that were there, YES most definitely there were WMDs in Iraq. Idk anything about the French intelligence reports you folks are talking about. But the guys I've talked to, said they found massive amounts of chemical weapons, which ARE classified as WMDs. And as to the other stuff the inspections, the no-fly violations etc the UN was justified to go in just based off of that stuff. We've taken to looking back 20+ years and leaving out so many details because it was a disaster. Everyone wants to be able to say all this negative stuff about it, but in reality if we had followed through on the UN resolutions that had been put in place over the prior decade we would have taken down Saddam a lot sooner.

Stalin's paranoia also played lot into it. He believed that the only reason Finland isn't giving into his demands was that they had secured themselves German backing in secret. They had not: Hitler was upholding his part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and had banned all arms sales and deliveries trough German territory headed to Finland. He did eventually lift the ban and start arming Finland, but this happened at summer of 1940, when Hitler started to prepare for Barbarossa. The real reason was quite simple: territories Stalin demanded were where the strongest defenses were located and Finnish leadership believed that should they give in, they would have nothing to deterr Stalin from making more demands after.

The supreme Soviet used the Polish sub _Orzel_ as casus belli. They gay operationed the Baltics by saying they broke the rules when it escaped port. It's off color to blame Germany for Polish antics and long planned Soviet land grabs, but it's a world worshipped lie, none the less. Germany had the misfortune of being stuck between Britain, France, and Poland running gay operations against them, so there is that. They never were friends of the Soviet, it was just convenient short term to do something with it. The Soviets had the expansion doctrine and false flag spam queue.

@@lylecoglianese1645 Republicans lie many times more. "This tax reform bill will pay for itself, pay no attention to the CBO showing otherwise!", fast forward and it's put the U.S trillions in debt just for the sake of giving already wealthy companies even more wealth. Instead of "trickling down", they did stock buy-backs and lied about the bill being the reason for the starting of projects that were started BEFORE the bill was a thing. It's simply that Republicans are so hypocritical and untrustworthy, that they know they have no way to argue they're the better party. So they tell you the other side is at least just as bad as they are, instead. They can't raise themselves up, so they pull down the reputation of their opponents.

Well, wrong German flag at the start of the first story, the flag in 1939 was red with a black swastika on a white circle, or at least the black-white-red one. The shown black-red-gold/yellow was only used during the Weimar Republic and then later of West Germany (and East Germany with their hammer and sickle emblem in the middle)... And the sinking of the Maine wasn't really a false flag operation, but just opportunistic use of an accident aboard the ship (and it was Pulitzer who was stoking the flames to go to war)

AFAIK the Georgian-Russian war was started by the Georgians while hundreds of US military advisors where in the country. I believe there are also official reports, for example by the scientific services of the German parliament and by the European parliament, that say it was the Georgians.

Having watched the video, they directly talk about three US false flag operations and reference the Iraq War as a fourth. If you count the USSR and the Russian Federation as two separate entities, then it's almost certainly the most represented nation in this video. There's definitely a pro-NATO slant in his content and it's sometimes less critical than it should be, but he's not just ignoring the US's history with false flags and PMCs when he talks about them.

Colin Powell was staunchly against the Iraq war, it is what made him leave his position as secretary of state, but he's the one you choose to show as visual reference when speaking on false flags? To top it off the Iraq war wasn't even touched upon in this video. Shame on you.

@@PrezVeto I'm assuming you're referring to my statement about the Iraq war not being touched on. Don't misunderstand, I know it isn't technically a false flag, for it to be one the catalyst for entering a conflict has to be an inside job. 9-11 was not an inside job. My point was using general Powell as a visual association for false flags is slanderous to that man's character and his beliefs when it comes to that conflict.

View counts probably updating at a slightly different rate as likes. Not that uncommon a sight on recently released videos to have seemingly odd view/like ratios. Also, IIRC KZbin counts a view once a user has watched certain percentage of a video, so especially with longer videos it's very possible for someone to start watching, hit the 'like' button and then stop watching before it counts as a view.

It definitely was and I say this as a socialist/communist (I only mention because I'm not D or R). More then enough evidence shows they were just allowed to walk in and do whatever.
