History: Who is Anne Arundel?

Fun Fact - Anne Arundell is my 9th great grandmather but I never researched Wardour Castle so I didn't know what it looked like until I saw it in this video. When I was a kid, one of my favorite movies was the 1991 Robin Hood. I saw the movie so many times that when I saw Wardour in this video - I realized is was Locksley Castle in the movie. Checked to see if it was the same castle and it is. Had no idea I was looking at an ancestors home when i was a kid.

Is am a direct descendant of the Arundel family (Howard) in England via the Capell lineage via my mother's paternal lineage. The first Capell ancestor arrived in Virginia in 1635 and soon took up land in St. Mary's, County, Maryland and later Anne Arundel, County, MD. He lived to be over 100 years old which was unusual for that period of time. Many of his male descendants lived to be a ripe old age.

Also descendant of this line, long age living family too, left handers, patient, early settlers planters and family clusters in Missouri from Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania

Yup ! She never came here and wasn’t originally from here ..they literally stole from my ancestors the aborigines of MD .. colonizing and stole the land from the natives of this land, they were here first and I really wish we can restore the names that so the called native Americans or aborigines of MD created .. hence Chesapeake bay , Assateague Island ! Where my ancestors resided and originally owned ..
