@ahashdahnagila68843 жыл бұрын
@Michael J.... I certainly hope Gary hasn't somehow conjured up the spirit of the 'American prophet' Joseph Smith; for, it was he who was Mighty and Large (in waving his magic wand around!) By the way, it is clear, to me, that Gary is part of a spoken (and unspoken) pecking order, in that Oak Island project: and, he gets the sense that he, with his wand, is higher in that 'order' than any simple 'earth mover' (regardless of how big the earth-movers' equipment may be). LMAO! What a bunch of clowns! (To his credit, though, Gary is an "unwitting stooge"...perhaps?) P.S.: We are somehow reminded of an episode of Family Guy, in all this, where James Woods is a guest character following a bread-crumb trail: and he intermittently exclaims... 'Ooh! A piece of candy! "Ooh!...piece of candy!"

@gregc21513 жыл бұрын
Yeah then he built a road into the swamp and put on a ship and covered his tracks.
@johntinus94383 жыл бұрын
That might of come off of Samuel Ball's garbage can so he could wheel his trash to the money pit and dump it right in just like he did for over seventy five years. That was a garbage pit the British dug when they were there. The timbers came from his old barn. He tore it down and dumped most of it into the money pit. Then he built a heavy oak platform over the hole to seal it shut. Over the years the wooden cover rotted and caved in.

And they typically aren't used in mines either. That castor was likely used on a floor. So Gary found a caster, a mass produced type certainly not made before the 1880s. It wouldn't be an from an alleged depositor, but a searcher. That area has already been searched. Most of those areas have been searched multiple times. The caster appears to be of the rotating type since the top and bottom aren't aligned which wouldn't be used in tunneling, because the cart would largely need to be steered straight. That is why mine carts have two wheels on each side tied by an axle. The rotating type would swing all over the place. It was likely just a piece of junk which got buried when one of the searchers took a bulldozer and dug up everything on that end of the island down to the watertable and then relayed it. It wasn't buried in a mine, just mixed in with all of the other scrambled ground.
@johntinus94383 жыл бұрын
That came off of Gary's soap box scooter. He rode it to work every day until he ran into a tree and demolished it. He took that one caster from the front and planted it on Oak Island.
@greglawrenz56483 жыл бұрын
Wait until they find the careened (dry dock method) sailing ship in the swamp.. The deeper cut that is toward the interior of the swamp is the entrance channel.. And yet another shoal road is built between, then away from the two wharfs, such that another swamp feature is created on Balls/Andersons property.. My guess is Anderson sold the property to Ball for a reason.. and the wharfs seem to support something landed there regularly..
