I'm watching the show alone right now and I saw Nicole and heard she has ms. I was diagnosed with primary progressive ms 4 years ago. You are a big inspiration to me. I have 4 kids and 3 grandsons and 1 on the way. He'll be here in January and I'm trying my hardest to get better and get rid of drop foot so bad! I wish you good health and happiness Nicole! Hes not mad about anything. He's both proven it in his own vid series and by observation of the past winners. They were all fat. Alan kay isn't a skilled survival expert. He's a fat guy that climbed into his shelter and hibernated while he talked to the cam

No need to take thicker wire for larger game. Just take more of the thinnner gauge wire and twist it together to make a stronger gauge when necessary.

I don't know who might see this but after Nicole had a serious MS flare-up & had to tap out on 06-28... why couldn't her much needed herbs have legally replaced her rations? It doesn't seem like Nicole's daily 'herb regimen' would have been disallowed... considering it was only herbs! Thank you for imput-insight.

D Hager I have MS and I do not know the answer, but, I would venture to guess "her" herbs would be viewed as a unfair advantage. MS is treated by big pharma with steroid based Anti-inflammatory medication. Herbs that are used are Anti-inflammatory, pain killers, things along those lines. I have no idea what she uses so I can't speak for her. But it's like Sally saying hey can I bring my multi vitamins and all the stuff I take daily to keep me strong and fit and Billy saying why does she get vitamins just cuz she's sick. She should have to find them there. Or that's what I think 🤔. My heart broke when she tapped, but I know exactly what she was going through. That struggle is real and she's definitely one of my heroes!

I don't know about a kukri as my only survival blade... yeah it's a great chopper, but it's not great at anything else. There's something to be said for a simple camp knife with a standard drop or clip point blade. Everything else is great though. Saw over axe is a good choice IMO because if you get the right camp knife it can double as a chopper, and a saw is more versatile. I probably would have added a blade sharpening and repair combo tool as well.

You need big ferrorod for these conditions. Only advantage of the Signal in this case for me is the whistle but not sure if it can scare something around with it neither. Charge titanium is heavy duty beast. I got basic Wingman but Charge seems to be the most expensive and best quality heavy duty Leatherman. I was pleasantly surprised when she picked this item.

tradron what if she can’t aim? Then it is a horrible choice. Snare wires are difficult to break and hard to lose. Fishing line is good cause it can be used for multiple things. As well as patching holes in the net.

In case of bears I would want a big spear which can also be used as a hiking staff to reduce your chances of a bad fall.

You and Dave McIntyre were the only ones I know of that reached sustainability. I like your chances. No pan like last time. No bow unlike most of the others. We will see how the game animals are. I'm thinking scarce. Or at least high cal to take, but great payoff . Good luck!

Bill Randall Dave McIntyre leveled off at 160 and stayed there. He had a sready food sourse eventually. I saw the records on his chanel. Nicole was eating real good and leved off. Every person with the diet change will lose weight. Once you muscle mass is reduced , calories spending reduced , you body in lean mode you can maintain a lower cal diet. Take the info and look it up or leave it. Most of the world lives like this. Uncommon in the US.

Bill Randall I'M not 14 so I had to ask what fos was . It's usless to argue with a toxic ,proud ,stubborn fool. I have 37 years of survival outdoors experience . I have been to Africa 3 times, Siberia, and in survival situations winter mountain climbing twice . All the knowledge you think you have does not add up to Jack so you hurl insults to try to make up for your ignorance. I would love to see you go out there and try it on Alone and come back with your tail between your leggs. I have waisted enough time. Continue to have a miserable life . Mine is great!

Game animals are never as easy to hunt as they would seem to be. Someone eventually is going to get a big game animal....this is 5 seasons in x 10 people is a lot of man-hours of hunting!!!

She did have the most ideal location, all the guys were working hard to get food and she had a salmon run right next to her camp with the seals stealing her catch near the end. I don't think she would have gotten as far if she were at Fowler's campsite having to hike up and down a hill to get food and water, but she may be able to learn from the last experience and surprise us. Wise choice to take your proven knife and a saw that doesn't fold. Not bringing an axe is also wise. Axes are dangerous to the user. I don't know if not bringing a bow and arrows was a wise choice or not. I hope your fishing and trapping were productive. It's too late to say good luck....best wishes.
